Plateau of Beginnings Chest Farming Route

Upon creating your new character, there's a decent chest farming route at the small ruins area behind the Plateau of Beginnings fast travel point. You'll have to consistently check on each corner of the area, as I have not figured out the exact chest spawns within the area as it is very random.

In my case, there were no available chest spawns in the area. I went to sleep and got back to the area the following day. I got three gold and purple chests (marked on the map photo above). You'll also get a random egg on top of a pillar, so make sure to check those areas as well.

Icy Weasle Hill Chest Farm Spot

This chest farming spot is more dangerous than the Plateau of Beginnings since most Pals in this area have high levels. You'll also encounter a few human enemies once you reach the farming spot, so you must either be quick and loot the chest as fast as possible or eliminate the enemies with your party.

To get to this area, you must teleport to the Icy Weasle Hill fast travel point (just above the Alpha Boss Anubis). From the Icy Weasle Hill, head west with your best mount available, like Frostallion Noct. Head to the top of the tower, and you'll find four random chests. You can revisit this area as soon as you advance to the next day.

Wildlife Sanctuary #1 Chest Farming Route

This route begins at Wildlife Sanctuary #1, so you can go to this area as soon as you grab a Nitewing and its saddle. It's one of the easiest and most viable chest farming routes as it provides a lot of uncommon to rare schematics. You'll also gain a bunch of accessories and high-grade technical manuals, which give you a few technology points.

Do note that not all spots on the map above will have chest spawns. There are instances where treasure chests do not spawn at all, and you need to sleep to fast forward through the following day and farm this area again.

The Wildlife Sanctuary #1 is my go-to area when chest farming as this is one of the best chest farming routes in the game. I highly recommend you give it a shot if you want to get rare schematics early in the game.
