Cash is king in Payday 3 just as much as in real life. Almost everything costs money, so you'll want to get your hands on as much of it as possible. Luckily, there's a mission I've encountered that is quick and mostly painless for earning cash in abundance. Here's how you can farm some cash fast in Payday 3.

Most of the later missions in Payday 3 earn you some seriously fat payouts, though they tend to be more complicated the further you progress. However, Road Rage—the second mission of the game—can be completed in just a few minutes for a lot of quick cash. In Road Rage, you're tasked with stealing the valuables from a truck in the vicinity.

You start the mission masked up, meaning there's no slow prep phrase to contend with. Guns are out and about from the start, so there's no need to waste any time. What makes this mission so great for earning money is that most of the objectives can be progressed without the objectives being active, meaning there are very few hurdles stopping you from rushing to a quick conclusion.

The amount of money earned is also entirely controlled by you, as the more you steal from the truck, the more money you'll get. My group earned a little over $700,000 while playing on Hard after nicking every valuable the truck had to offer in around 15 minutes. The entire time, you'll be assaulted by police, so you can determine when it's time to get out of there, so long as you manage to secure at least five bags of loot which isn't too hard to do, solo or with a group

Road Rage is a very fast mission anyway, so even if you take longer the first time, every consecutive attempt should get much faster for you. Just make sure you don't overstay your welcome if you're being overwhelmed, as your reward will be greatly reduced should you fail the mission. Now get out there and earn some easy cash!
