How to evolve Poltchageist into Sinistcha in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet (The Teal Mask DLC)

I would make the same sinis(tea) joke twice, but I won't.

Poltchageist is The Teal Mask’s addition to the Sinistea line. Much like Sinistea, Poltchageist doesn’t evolve with a simple level up. Rather, it needs specific items depending on what type of Poltchageist you have. Here’s what we know about its evolution, Sinistcha, and the items needed for the event in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

How to get Sinistcha in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

A Poltchageist can only evolve into a Sinistcha with one of two items: a Masterpiece Teacup or an Unremarkable Teacup. The former will evolve an authentic Poltchageist, and the second will evolve its Counterfeit form. Here’s where to find both items so you can evolve your Poltchageist no matter which one you have.

Masterpiece Teacup location

The Masterpiece Teacup is in a cave in Timeless Woods. I found it surrounded by Pawniwards and Bisharps. And if my memory isn't failing yet, you should be able to battle and capture this Snolax in front of it too.

If you’ve already been to Kitami Hall, fly there and take your mount north. There is only one big green/forest area in The Teal Mask map.

Unremarkable Teacup location

Meanwhile, The Unremarkable Teacup can be found in the Paradise Barrens. If Timeless Woods is in the northeast of the Kitakami Map, Paradise Barrens is in the northwest. I found it in this cave!

We’ve gotten both types of Poltchageists and tried really hard to see the difference… but failed to do so. It’s probably another bottom authenticity seal thing.
