The Paldea region in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is full of new Pokémon to meet, capture, and battle with. Early on, you can encounter numerous strong Pokémon, including Fidough and its evolution. This may leave you wondering where to find Fidough and how to get a Dachsbun in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Where to catch Dachsbun in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
It can be easy to miss Fidough if you rush through the early portion of the game, as it is largely only encountered in the beginning areas. But you will want to search the southern portion of the Paldea region to catch this adorable Fairy-type dog Pokémon. We found ours in the South Province, Area 1, while heading toward the Outdoor Pokémon Center.
What evolves into Dachsbun in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Fidough will evolve in Dachsbun. You will need to train and raise your Fidough to level 26, but no other method or technique is needed. The Fairy-type Pokémon remains a Fairy-type and does not gain a secondary type.
Daschbun has excellent bulk and a unique ability that gives it an edge over Fire-type Pokémon. Combining this with a good nature will turn your Daschbun into a valued member of your team. Its attack is also pretty good, letting it strike back while tanking hits.
