How to get Oinkolgne in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

This pig is worth catching.

The Paldea region in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is full of new Pokémon to meet, capture, and battle with. One type that has received a lot of love with many great additions is the Normal-type. One strong Normal-type Pokémon you can get early on is Oinkolgne. This may leave you wondering how to get Oinklogne in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

It is much easier to get an Oinklogne in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet by catching a Lechonk. This is one of the Pokémon you can encounter in the game. You can find it throughout the southern portion of Paldea, like in the image above, but we found ours on Poco Path.

What evolves into Oinkolgne in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Lechonk will evolve into Oinklogne in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. You will need to train and raise it to level 18 before it will evolve, though nothing else is required. However, what form of Oinkolgne it evolves into depends on the gender of your Lechonk. This will affect not only its form but also its stat spread.

The male Oinkolgne has a higher Attack, while the female Oinkolgne has a higher Special Attack and more HP. The difference in stats is fairly negligible, meaning both forms are viable. Ultimately you can choose what form of Oinkolgne you use based on appearance. Then you can simply choose a good nature to boost whatever stat you like.
