Where to find Poltchageist (Map) in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Teal Mask DLC

Do you like macha?

Poltchageist is an adorable Grass/Ghost-type Pokémon that can be found in The Teal Mask DLC in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Specifically, it’s exclusive to the Kitakami region! Much like Sinistea, it’s sinistea-rly difficult to find. So, here is its exact location to make your life easier.

Poltchageist can only be found in Bamboo Groves within Kitakami. Here’s one you can literally just go in and out of and hope for a spawn. Again, the Pokémon might be rare, but if you eat a sandwich like Great Potato Salad, which can boost Ghost encounter rate, they’ll spawn like crazy.

Despite what the description implies, you can find Poltchageist during either the night or day. Like Sinistea, it also comes in two types: authentics and fakes. Both can evolve into Sinistcha but need different items. We've got a guide right here if you're interested!

Poltchageist information in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Poltchageist and, consequently, Sinistcha are both high in Sp. Attack and HP. Their other stats are so-so. They’re weak against Fire, Ice, Flying, Ghost, and Dark but resistant to Water, Electric, Grass, and Ground-type moves. They’re completely immune to Normal and Fighting moves, like any other Ghost type. Poltchageist and Sinistcha are pretty fun to use in-game, but I wouldn’t recommend them in PvP due to their many weaknesses.
