Where to find Tart Apple and Sweet Apple in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet take place in the Paldea region and feature a wide variety of Pokémon. While many of these are new to the region, there are those that return, including the popular Dragon and Grass-type Pokémon Applin. However, you will need two specific evolution items to evolve this Pokémon, which may leave you wondering where to find the Tart Apple and Sweet Apple in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to get the Tart Apple in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

The Tart Apple can be purchased from the Delibird Presents stores in Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascarrafa in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. However, you must first defeat three gym leaders before this evolution item is available. The Tart Apple will evolve Applin into Flapple in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

How to get the Sweet Apple in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

The Sweet Apple can be purchased from the Delibird Presents stores in Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascarrafa in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. However, you must first defeat three gym leaders before this evolution item is available. The Sweet Apple will evolve Applin into Apptun in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

Where to find Applin in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Applin can be found in multiple areas in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. It can be found hanging in trees, but it spawns incredibly rare and is hard to spot. We found ours in East Province Area One. You can aim up at Applin when you spot it, or you can simply ram into the tree while sprinting with Miraidon or Koraidon. This will knock Applin out of the tree and allow you to catch it. We recommend using an item that increases the spawn power of Dragon or Grass-type Pokémon.
