Where to get Snorlax in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Blocking an entrance like usual.

Finding Snorlax in any Pokémon game is always a happy memory. While it took a break from the base game of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Snorlax has returned in the Teal Mask DLC. Though finding it is easy, catching it is another story. You'll need Pokémon level 70 and higher that you can use to damage this sleeping giant.

Location for Snorlax in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC

There are two ways to get Snorlax in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: either catch Snorlax in the wild or catch Munchlax and evolve it into Snorlax. As for the first method, Snorlax can actually be found at a fixed spot in the land of Kitakami.

Towards the northeast of Kitakami is the Timeless Woods. If players dip into the woods and turn to their right, they should find a cave with Snorlax taking a nap at the entrance. Just like in Pokémon Red and Blue, Snorlax needs to block a passageway.

If you want to get Snorlax using this method, be prepared to spend tons of Ultra Balls. As always, Snorlax has a huge health pool and won't go down without a fight. I would personally use a Rock-type or Steel-type to resist Snorlax's attacks while chipping away at its HP.

Alternatively, players can find Munchlax pretty easily. I found several around the Whistful Woods area, but keep in mind that it's a rare encounter. Munchlax only evolves into Snorlax after leveling up with max friendship. If your Pokémon are powerful enough, battling and catching Snorlax is definitely the easier method.
