Princess Peach Showtime trailer unveils Mighty Peach, several other outfits

Well, it looks like Peach is about to get tons of new alts for Super Smash Bros. The latest trailer for Princess Peach Showtime shows the Queen of the Mushroom Kingdom in several bits of new attire, each with their own skill set. Even players who wanted to see Peach as a superhero will be getting their wish granted with Mighty Peach.

New outfits for Princess Peach Showtime announced

The main gimmick behind Princess Peach Showtime will be her ability to change outfits and abilities throughout the game. We have already seen some of her outfits, but this new trailer shows four new ones. Specifically, these outfits are:

• Figure Skater Peach: this version of Peach dawns a light blue skater outfit and can pirouette around the stage to defeat enemies.
• Dashing Thief Peach: a sneakier Peach, this one get a grappling hook which she can use to swing around like Batman.
• Mermaid Peach: with this outfit, Peach gets to use her vocal chords as she sings to bring fish to her aid.
• Mighty Peach: Peach becomes a super heroine with this outfit. She gets flight and super strength as Mighty Peach.

While all these outfits look nice, I'm most excited for Mighty Peach. It looks like the levels with Mighty Peach involve some side scrolling action.

Princess Peach Showtime is a game where Peach will play each level with a different costume. Each costume gives her different abilities and, therefore, different ways to tackle each level. The game is set to release on March 22nd, 2024.
