When I first saw the Project Mugen trailer during Gamescom 2023, I was hooked by the colorful sights and various features showcased.

What is the release date of Project Mugen?

Project Mugen does not have an official release date at this time. I suspect we could see a release in late 2023 or early 2024, but this is speculation. In the meantime, you can pre-register for the game and follow the official Project Mugen Twitter for more information.

Is Project Mugen multiplayer?

NetEase Games has yet to confirm if Project Mugen is a multiplayer or single-player title. Many games in this genre include multiplayer functions, but some do not. Whether Project Mugen will let you play with others has yet to be answered, but more information may be released soon and reveal this information.

Is Project Mugen a gacha game?

There is no official confirmation if Project Mugen is a gacha game, but given that it appears similar to Genshin Impact, Tower of Fantasy, and other games featuring gacha mechanics, I assume it will be. Considering Project Mugen plans to be free to play, there will most likely be microtransactions of some kind. Whether this is a gacha mechanic for pulling characters, banners, or something else remains to be seen.
