First of all, you should know that you will have to increase your speed if you want to complete the stages of the game's obstacle course, since they get progressively harder and more speed is needed to make progress. Thankfully, making speed is super easy, since you can just run or stand on the treadmills.
To increase the rate at which you produce speed, you have to increase its passive multipliers. The main ways of doing this are purchasing Trails, Auras, and performing Rebirths as much as you can. To do a Rebirth, all you have to do is reach a certain level and click the appropriate button on the left side of the screen. +1 Speed Keyboard will tell you exactly how much speed you will be making, but be wary, as rebirthing will set your speed back to 0.
