For this tier list, I'm prioritizing overall usefulness during the race, including combat strength, survivability, and how reliably a Stand helps you deal with other players. Damage matters, obviously, but so does actually landing your abilities and getting out of a bad situation before the entire server decides you're today's side quest.

Here's how the tiers work:

  • S Tier: The strongest overall picks, with powerful abilities and consistent value across different situations.
  • A Tier: Excellent Stands that can compete with the best, though their weaknesses or execution requirements are more noticeable.
  • B Tier: Solid options with useful strengths, but more dependent on the matchup, situation, or player.
  • C Tier: The least convincing overall picks, either because their tools are too limited or because other Stands do the same job more effectively.

Best Stands in A Bizarre Run Explained

A Bizarre Run Stand Tier List
Stand Evaluation
Tusk Act 1 in A Bizarre Run
S TIER Tusk Act 1

Deals heavy damage from long range.

  • Tusk gets my top recommendation for combining ranged pressure with serious damage. Being able to threaten someone without stepping straight into their melee range is a valuable advantage.
  • Keep your distance and make opponents come to you. Johnny's little pink companion is much more appealing when you aren't trying to use it like Star Platinum.
Sandman in A Bizarre Run
S TIER Sandman

Runs on foot at speeds capable of surpassing mounts.

  • Sandman earns S Tier through racing utility. In a game built around reaching the finish line, movement that can outperform mounts deserves just as much attention as damage.
  • I'd prioritize him if your main goal is placing well rather than picking fights. You don't need to settle every disagreement when you can simply leave.
Star Platinum in A Bizarre Run
S TIER Star Platinum

A powerful Stand focused on aggressive combat.

  • Star Platinum is my recommendation for players who want to take the initiative and keep opponents under pressure. Its aggressive fighting style gives it a clear place among the strongest combat picks.
  • I'd choose it over the more specialized options when fighting is the priority. Just remember that winning an argument with your fists doesn't automatically win the race.
Anubis in A Bizarre Run
A TIER Anubis

A fast sword-based kit built around quick damage.

  • Anubis is an appealing offensive pick if you prefer fast sword combat. Speed and quick damage give it a straightforward purpose without needing an elaborate game plan.
  • I give Tusk's range and Sandman's racing utility the edge overall, but Anubis remains a good choice for players who want to focus on fighting.
In A Silent Way in A Bizarre Run
A TIER In A Silent Way

Manipulates and materializes sound.

  • In A Silent Way sits in A Tier as a more unusual alternative to the roster's direct damage dealers. Sound manipulation is its main attraction if you want something different from another melee-focused pick.
  • Tusk and Star Platinum get my recommendation first for offense. I'd choose this one specifically for its ability style rather than treat it as an automatic upgrade over either.
Oyecomova in A Bizarre Run
A TIER Oyecomova

Uses Boku no Rhythm wo Kiitekure to cause explosions upon contact.

  • Oyecomova offers an explosive alternative to the usual sword and barrage options. I'd consider him if you want an offensive pick built around making contact count.
  • Tusk stays ahead because I place more value on its ranged damage. Oyecomova belongs in A Tier as another combat option rather than my first overall recommendation.
Steel Balls Spin in A Bizarre Run
A TIER Steel Balls (Spin)

Uses two Steel Balls as an offensive technique.

  • Spin gives you another combat route if you prefer Gyro's approach to fighting. It earns an A Tier spot alongside the other offensive alternatives.
  • I still favor Tusk for its emphasis on long-range damage. Pick Spin because you enjoy fighting with Steel Balls, rather than assuming the Steel Ball Run name makes it mandatory.
Coco Jumbo in A Bizarre Run
B TIER Coco Jumbo

Creates a secret, hotel-like hiding room.

  • Coco Jumbo has a specific appeal if you'd rather hide than trade damage. Its room gives it a utility-focused identity that stands apart from the offensive picks.
  • I prioritize speed and combat strength for general use, which leaves it in B Tier. A portable hotel is a nice luxury, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a race build.
The Sun in A Bizarre Run
B TIER The Sun

Uses the power of the sun while its user hides in a box.

  • The Sun is a more specialized choice, with a playstyle built around sun-based power and hiding. I'd approach it as a pick for players who specifically enjoy that setup.
  • For a general recommendation, I favor the clearer damage and movement roles higher up the table. The Sun stays in B Tier rather than being a priority pick.

Rankings weigh combat strength and race utility. Sandman and Steel Balls (Spin) are included alongside Stands.

How to Choose the Best Stand in A Bizarre Run

When you're choosing a Stand in A Bizarre Run, think about what your current options actually help you accomplish. The game's Stand Arrow system presents three randomly offered Stands, so knowing how to compare the choices in front of you is useful even when your favorite doesn't appear.

My advice is to consider three things:

  • Can you use its abilities consistently? A powerful move doesn't offer much value if you struggle to land it.
  • Does it suit your approach? Aggressive players and players focused on surviving the race won't necessarily want the same tools.
  • What happens when something goes wrong? Consider how your choice helps when an opponent gets close, a fight turns against you, or you need to disengage.

Use the rankings to narrow down your choices, then spend some time learning the Stand you pick. Understanding its range, timing, and openings will do more for you than treating an S Tier label as permission to charge into every fight.
