Grand Piece Online Boss Drops in Update 8

Update 8 added a lot of polish to Grand Piece Online (GPO), with a wide variety of bug fixes and changes added to make the experience smoother than ever. Many new bosses to defeat and loot to collect were added, too. Some of them are rather notable, so I can't wait to get hacking and slashing for some fancy new drops. This article will cover all the new bosses and their drops in GPO.

All new Bosses in GPO Update 8 and their drops

Pica

Pica is a Second Sea boss introduced in Update 8, which uses the Ishi Ishi no Mi. You can find him at Dressrosa in the Rose Kingdom. This boss spawns once DoFlamingo's family around the island is defeated. It has a health pool of 75,000, and is best dealt with by having a team member with the Suna Devil Fruit, as the Desert Spada ability can deal massive damage to him.

Bellom

Bellom is a boss that uses Spring Fruit to transfigure his body parts into springs, increasing mobility. He will come at you using only dash attacks, so make sure you're on the move constantly when fighting him.

  • Bellom’s Glasses

Donmingo

Right after beating Pica, you can proceed to hunt down Donmingo, the next boss that spawns immediately after Pica's death. To find Donmingo, travel to the Rose Kingdom's central Castle. If he still didn't spawn, wait for about 15 minutes and he should appear. He has 50,000 HP, and once you get him down to half health, he will drop a cage over the entire area. During this second phase of combat, you must fire all seven cannons at the X markers. You must make it in time before the cage closes down or Donmingo will escape.

Law

You can encounter Law as a Second Sea boss in Factory Raid on the second floor. With his heal pool of 25,000, he looks deceptively easy to beat. However, this boss has four stages, with each subsequent stage increasing in difficulty due to the lava level rising. Be sure you or anyone from your team does not touch the lava because they will die immediately (as I found out the hard way). The fight will not be easy, as Law wields Kikoku and Ope Ope no Mi to buff the weapon further.

Lucy

Lucy spawns on the 10th wave of the Colosseum Raid. After the initial two players, Lucy boasts 40000 HP, with +1875 HP per player. You will need to fight Lucy in the Gear Second empowered state throughout the battle. Lucy has Elephant Gun and Haoshoku available, and uses the latter approximately once per minute—to avoid these attacks, you can use Geppo to stay on top of the arena's ceiling.
