Before diving into this Anime Defenders tier list, let's make one thing clear - all these units are fantastic! We're talking about the cream of the crop, the most expensive, hard to get units in the game. This means the tier C unit from the list below is still better than almost all best-ranked Anime Defenders units. Consider them all S++ tier compared to other units.

Below, you'll find more information about each double evo unit in Anime Defenders.

S Tier Evo Units

Units in the S tier are the most useful of the bunch, as they offer powerful movement debuffs besides having a great DPS output. Making enemies slower/stunned is more important than any other buff/debuff, especially when you're overwhelmed by waves of enemies.

  • Elf Saint has a powerful passive, which allows her to inflict Confused on every third strike, forcing enemies to move in opposite directions for 5 seconds.
    • Evolution path: Elf Wizardess > Elf Hero > Elf Saint
  • Prime Leader is an overpowering unit with a slow ability. His ability, Galaxy Smash, deals 250% damage but, more importantly, creates a crater that slows down units by 30%. The crater lasts for 30 seconds.
    • Evolution path: Strike Commander > Prime Commander > Prime Leader

A Tier Evo Units

Units in A tier offer superior Burn and Bleed damage, making them your favorite picks if you want additional damage. While not as useful as S tier units, they're still in an exclusive club of the most dominant characters in the game.

  • Curse Overlord has a passive that allows him to inflict Bleed and Burn effects on opponents, dealing 10% damage for 4 seconds. Now pair that with the Full Throttle AoE ability that deals 50% of your unit's total damage with a cooldown of 30 seconds.
    • Evolution path: Curse Prince > Curse Lord > Curse Overlord.
  • King of Dragons, with added burn damage, is a visible upgrade to Flame Dragon God, which is already a fantastic DPS unit.
    • Evolution path: Flame Dragon King > Flame Dragon God > King of Dragons

B Tier Unit

  • Skull Vindicator is not as powerful as top-tiered units, but he has arguably the best range of any unit in the game.
    • Evolution path: Skull Warrior > Skull Paladin > Skull Vindicator

C Tier Unit

  • Expert Sharpshooter has a great range, but lacks constant powerful attack. She does make that up to some degree with a passive that improves critical damage and a special ability that deals extra damage every 15 seconds. But because all evo units in Anime Defenders are hard to get, I suggest you invest in more dominant ones with better attack input and buffs/debuffs.
    • Evolution path: Sharpshooter > Proficient Sharpshooter > Expert Sharpshooter
