Whether you're enhancing your favorite fishing rods, unlocking secret doors, or aiming for the powerful Trident Rod, stockpiling Enchant Relics is essential. However, farming them can be a tricky endeavor without the right knowledge. This guide covers everything you need to know about farming Enchant Relics in Fisch.
Where to Find Enchant Relics in Fisch
Enchant Relics are most commonly obtained through fishing, though they are exceedingly rare. No matter where you cast your line, the odds of reeling in an Enchant Relic sit at a slim 1 in 500. These odds remain consistent regardless of bait, weather, time of day, or season.
You’ll know you’ve hooked an Enchant Relic when a cyan exclamation mark flashes above your avatar's head, and you’ll notice a distinct change in the reeling mechanics. The reeling bar progresses 20% slower than usual, making it easier to land your prize without risking a break. This subtle difference ensures that relic catches stand out from other high-value finds, so keep your eyes peeled and your reflexes sharp!
Best Places to Fisch for Enchant Relics
While Enchant Relics can be fished up anywhere, certain locations have developed a reputation within the community for being especially fruitful. These spots may not alter the relic’s base odds, but they offer favorable conditions for efficient fishing and multitasking. Here are the top locations to try your luck:
1. The Depths
The Depths is a hotspot for high-value catches, including Enchant Relics. It's known as an Enchant Relic farming area, and seems to have much higher chances of catching a Relic than other areas. Players, including myself, have managed to fish up Enchant Relics here plenty of times, and much more regularly.
2. Ancient Isle Pond
This is my personal recommendation for fishing up Enchant Relics away from The Depths. I wasn't catching them as often as I would in The Depths, but I did encounter several Relics while fishing in the pond on the Ancient Isle. The pond is located in the center of the main island, next to the Merchant NPC.
2. Nurse Shark Spawn Area, Roslit Bay
Though this isn't a well-known area for catching Enchant Relics, I have found statements from players on Reddit who say they found Relics where Nurse Sharks spawn in Roslit Bay more often than usual. I also tested this myself and though I caught relics quicker than I would have fishing elsewhere, I didn't get them as often as I found them on Ancient Isle.
If you're unfamiliar with the area, Nurse Sharks can be found in two areas on the south side of the Roslit lighthouse - you can see these on XxMakio's map above, outlined in pink at the bottom of the lighthouse.
While these locations aren’t guaranteed to increase your odds mathematically, they remain popular for good reason. Each area combines efficiency, profitability, and the thrill of high-value fishing, making them ideal for anyone hunting the elusive Enchant Relics. Even if you don’t land one, the rare fish and scenic views make these spots well worth the trip.
Other Ways to Get Enchant Relics
If fishing isn’t yielding results—or if you’re simply looking for a faster or more reliable method—there are several alternative ways to acquire Enchant Relics. While some of these methods require preparation or depend on specific circumstances, they can be excellent supplements to your relic-hunting efforts.
Merlin on Sunstone Island
Once you reach Level 30, you’ll unlock access to Merlin, an NPC who sells Enchant Relics for 11,000C$ each. Merlin resides in a hut atop the laddered section of Sunstone Island at coordinates (-931, 223, -987). While his relics aren’t cheap, they offer a guaranteed way to build your collection if you’ve saved enough C$.
Trading
Trading is another potential avenue, though it comes with risks. Since Fisch lacks a secure in-game trading system, exchanges rely entirely on trust. If you can find a reliable player, you might trade rare or high-value fish for relics. Just be cautious - scammers exist.
Redeemable Codes
The developers occasionally release codes for Fisch that give players free rewards, which have included Enchant Relics. However, these codes are infrequent and tend to expire quickly. We always update our Fisch codes page quickly here at Pro Game Guides, so be sure to check back frequently.
Event Rewards
Past events have also been a source of Enchant Relics. For instance, the 2024 Fischfright event featured relics as rewards for completing event challenges. While no future events with Relics as rewards have been confirmed yet, it’s worth monitoring updates and announcements on the Fisch Discord server, as relics could reappear in future event line-ups. Invites for the server expire, so I've linked the Roblox game page for Fisch so you can join directly from there.
How to Use Enchant Relics in Fisch
Enchant Relics are primarily used to enhance fishing rods, but they also play a role in unlocking some of Fisch’s most valuable fishing rods. Here’s how to make the most of your relics:
Enchanting Rods at the Keepers Altar
To enchant a rod, head to the Statue of Sovereignty and pay 400C$ to access the Keepers Altar via an elevator. The altar only works at night, so time your visit accordingly. Once you’re at the altar, interact with it to consume one Enchant Relic and apply a random enhancement to your equipped rod. These enchantments can boost various stats, making your rods far more effective. Check out our piece on the best enchantments for each rod in Fisch.
Unlocking the Trident Rod
The Trident Rod can be purchased from the hidden temple in the Desolate Deep for a hefty 150,000C$. To unlock the door to this temple, you’ll need to place five Enchant Relics on pedestals after you complete the Desolate Deep Bestiary.
Once the door is open, you can access the altar and purchase the rod. Alternatively, a fellow player who’s already unlocked the door can let you in, saving you the cost of the relics - but you’ll still need to pay for the rod. The door only stays open for a short period of time, so be sure to coordinate with any player helping you.
Unlocking the Rod of the Depths
The Rod of the Depths is one of the best rods in Fisch. To find this rod, you’ll need to head down to the Depths first. You’ll need one Hexed Enchant Relic and one Abyssal Enchant Relic, which should be placed on the two altars near the central island’s waterfall. One altar is behind the waterfall, and the other is midway up. Once both relics are placed, a secret underwater maze becomes accessible, leading to the rod. The final purchase price is a staggering 750,000C$.
Hexed and Abyssal relics are far rarer than standard relics. Using a rod enchanted with the Abyssal trait can increase your odds of catching Abyssal Relics, while fishing during Mutation Surge events boosts your chances of finding either type.
Alternatively, you can try appraising Enchant Relics in Moosewood to identify their type, though this is an expensive and unreliable method that I wouldn't recommend.
