Want to know what the best Relics are in Universal Tower Defense? In UTD, Relics are special items that you can equip on your units to earn bonuses that can significantly improve their stats. Even better, if a unit wears a full set, these buffs can be stronger than those provided by Traits. In this guide, you’ll find a complete list of all Universal Tower Defense Relic Set Bonuses, Main Stats, and Sub-Stat buffs.
Universal Tower Defense Relic Set Bonuses - Complete List
In total, there are currently six Relic sets in Universal Tower Defense, representing each of the stages present in the game. Each stage, inspired by a famous anime, has two thematic sets that can be earned simply by completing Story Acts and Virtual Realm matches. Two parts of a Relic set are obtained by completing Story missions (the Body and Leg Relics), while the third part of the set is earned from the Virtual Realm.
If a character has all three set Relics equipped, it will gain powerful set bonuses for every item. Here's a complete list of set bonuses, as shared by CrazyCat on the official Universal Tower Defense Discord server.

Universal Tower Defense Relics Main & Sub Stats (Perks)
In addition to set bonuses, each individual Relic provides smaller stat buffs (Perks) that are active even without a complete set equipped. Every Relic piece has one Main Stat Perk and at least one Sub-Stat Perk. Main Stats are always the most impactful and are limited to one per Relic.

On the other hand, sub-stat buffs are not as powerful, but they can be stacked multiple times on rare Relics. You can upgrade relics you own, and for every three updates (Power Ups), you'll get a chance unlock a new random sub-stat. Here's a complete list of possible main and sub-stat Perks on Relics.
| Body | Leg | Head | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Possible Main Stats | Possible Sub Stats | Possible Main Stats | Possible Sub Stats | Possible Main Stats | Possible Sub Stats |

You can unlock Relic perks by upgrading Relics using Power Ups. Every three Power Ups give you a chance to roll a new perk, though the upgrade can fail. Because of that, unlocking new Sub-Stat perks requires a bit of luck.
