There are five confirmed monster mutations in Catch a Monster: Shiny, Huge, Bloodlit, Corruption, and Fairy. Every time you obtain a pet, there’s a small chance that it could have any of the above mutations. The base chances of getting a mutated monster increase during the Bloodmoon Weather Event. Mutations will change the appearance of the monster and boost certain stats like Attack, HP, Crit Rate, and more.
As you hatch eggs and obtain different monsters, there’s a chance that they can obtain a random mutation. These mutations add unique VFX to the monster and also boost specific stats. In this complete Catch a Monster mutations guide, we’ll tell you what each mutation does, what the chances of getting these mutations are, and when the best time to try to get monsters with mutations is.
