To defeat the Amalgamation boss, firstly you will have to access it. To do this, interact with the red Bossraid Portal in the middle of the map, opposite to the Leaderboards. Once you have done that, make sure you select The Amalgamation using the arrows at the top of the menu. Here you will also be given the chance to play the boss on either Easy or Hell difficulties.

Note: The Hell difficulty is still unreleased and thus unplayable at the moment.

Once you have selected your desired difficulty, you will also be given the choice of either doing the boss raid solo or going to the lobby to await other players to play with. We strongly advise against trying to do the Amalgamation solo, as it is extremely difficult and bothersome, much more so than the previous Crawler boss. A much better idea is to join the aforementioned lobby, as by doing so you can try beating it by enlisting the help of up to seven other players!

If you try beating the boss solo, it will have 15.000 HP, but if you do it with the maximum eight players, its health will scale up but not by eight times but rather only to 57.630, which is an another reason why raiding the boss with friends comes recommended.

Out of all the currently available rental auras, the best one for defeating this Boss is the Archangel, because its skillset is the most powerful. Keep in mind that rental auras do 50% less damage, so if you have unlocked Archangel regularly make sure you select that version of it. You should easily be able to tell the rental and owned versions apart as the rental one has a purple background.

The boss itself has three stages, and it progresses through them when it loses roughly a third of its maximum HP. To beat the boss, make sure you dodge its attacks and fire back at it between them. Rinse and repeat. Keep an eye out for the third stage as the attacks the boss hurls at you become much harder to dodge while dealing massive amounts of damage. They will involve waves of interlocking laser webs that will overlap either horizontally or diagonally, and you will have only tiny safe spots in-between them as safe areas.

Important infomation: Every Aura comes with a built-in dash which you activate by pressing Q, and it should be your main way of dodging the bosses' attacks as it has an extremely short cooldown and offers great mobility.
