If you thought that the last update was amazing, then get ready for the Dress to Impress KATSEYE Quest. It's no secret that we've all been waiting for something other than new outfits and cosmetics, and the time has finally come to enjoy this part of the game that makes it all the more special. So if all you divas are ready to slay this challenge, just follow this guide and complete the quest in no time, but with style!
How to Start the KATSEYE Quest in Dress to Impress
As soon as you start Dress to Impress, a pop-up will appear explaining that it's quest time. It's up to us to save the KATSEYE concert with this new challenge, and it's no easy feat. To start the quest, click on the Teleport button on the bottom left of the screen, then select the KATSEYE Quest option on the right. Keep in mind that you need a pre-saved outfit to look cool while completing it, because you spawn like a mannequin without an option to adjust your look. So make sure to have a fit prepared in your closet, so you can add it once you spawn.
There are two important things to keep in mind before you start:
- You can choose to play solo or with other players. To do this, simply stand on the platform with the number of players you need to start the game. The only difference is that it's easier to play with others because each player's progress counts toward the final score.
- There are 4 parts of the quest. If you fail any of them, the game will kick you out, and you will be forced to start again, regardless of your previous progress.
DTI KATSEYE Quest 1
As soon as the quest loads, you'll have a cinematic where you're introduced to the KATSEYE band members and the problem they're facing. The girlies don't have their performance outfits because of a flight delay, and their choreographer is missing. This is where you step in. Quest 1 has you styling some gnarly outfits by playing a memory game. There are 5 rounds, and in each one, a member will step on the runway and show you three clothing items. Then it's up to you to remember and match them in order to complete this part of the challenge.
DTI KATSEYE Quest 2
The second part of the quest is the easiest. This time, you're stepping into the role of choreographer and helping them with dance moves. There are multiple X marks the spot signs all around the floor and you have to step on the ones that are glowing before the time is up. Once the "Dance Bar" is full, part 2 of the KATSEYE Quest is done.
DTI KATSEYE Quest 3
Now, this is where things get interesting. Quest 3 is like an Easter egg hunt, where you have a total of 10 minutes to find all the members. Scattered all around the backstage, you must walk around, open chests, and enter the backrooms to locate them. Keep in mind that once you find one of the queens, you have to carry her back to her designated glowing spot before you can go look for the next one. This time frame is a breeze if you're playing with others. However, if you're all on your own, it can be a bit of a challenge because there is no speed boost for walking. Here are all the KATSEYE member locations in the game:
- As soon as you spawn in the backstage, look behind you, and you can see a big black chest that glows red once you walk close enough to it. By interacting and opening the chest, the first band member climbs on your back, and you carry her to the glowing spot.
- The second band member is not that far either! Turn to the door on the right at the spawn spot, and walk to the hallway. There are multiple rooms you can enter, but to save you time, just go through the first door to the makeup studio. This is where you can pick up the next girlie.
- Keep going down the hallway, pass the second double doors that are already open, and you'll see another black chest on the right side next to a reflector. Band member three is waiting for you inside.
- This next one is a bit tricky. There is a storage room across from the previous chest, to the left of the double doors in the hallway. Enter it and go to the right corner of the room. There is a hole with a ladder that you use to go down. Keep going down the stairs until you reach a mini obby. Once you cross it, you can collect the fourth band member and bring them back to the stage.
- I saved the most difficult for last. To find the fifth member, go to the very end of the hallway, then down the stairs, and you will reach a maze. To complete this part as soon as possible, I suggest zooming out so you have a better view while walking around.
Another thing to look out for is random sacks falling from the sky and hitting you. This is especially frustrating when time is tight, and you're rushing back, so be extra careful. Also, as previously mentioned, if your time runs out and you did not collect all 5 members, you'll have to redo all quests from the beginning.
DTI KATSEYE Quest 4
The final objective of the KATSEYE Quest is to follow the random dots on the screen and wait for them to pop while recording the band behind the scenes. This challenge has 3 rounds, and for each, you must collect a certain number of points before you get another short scene, and your work is done! All that's left is to enjoy the concert.
Dress to Impress FAQs
To start the KATSEYE quest, simply click on the Teleport button on the bottom left of your screen, then choose the quest option on the very right.
The KATSEYE Quest had 4 mini-games in total. A fashion memory game, a dance challenge, an egg hunt, and "follow the bubbles". Once you complete all stages, you enjoy a Dress to Impress concert and get a reward.
Once you've completed the quest, go back to Freeplay mode and check out the reward in the changing cabins. The items are: KATSEYE Pinky Up Legwarmers, KATSEYE Pinky Up Skirt and KATSEYE Pinky Up Corset.
The first one is in the big black chest you can find if you turn around as soon as you spawn in the backstage. The second is in the makeup room in the hallway. The third is in another chest down the hallway. Forth is at the end of an obby you can find in one of the backrooms. And the fifth one is all the way down the hallway, in a maze.
