You can find the Hedge Maze beside the Carnival area, but it remains locked when you first discover it. The maze and carnival both appear after Day 3, when the in-game message “The Carnival is in town” flashes across your screen.

To unlock the maze, you will need three Carnival Tickets, which you can earn by playing the carnival mini-games: Ring Toss, Basketball, and Shooting Range. Once you’ve collected three tickets, the Hedge Maze gate will open automatically, allowing you to enter the labyrinth.

How to Get Carnival Tickets in 99 Nights in the Forest

Carnival Tickets are the key to unlocking the Hedge Maze. You can earn them by completing carnival mini-games, which test your aim, precision, and timing. Each game rewards one ticket once you meet the required score, and you can play them during the day to avoid creature attacks.

Once the Hedge Maze gate opens, you can interact with the glowing door to enter. Before you step in, make sure you’re fully prepared. Bring food, bandages, and a strong weapon since Wolves and an Alpha Wolf patrol in the maze.

You can find red arrows painted on the hedges; some of them lead the right way, while others are misleading. If you get lost, keep your hand against the right wall as you move to eventually find the end. There are several chests scattered throughout the maze that contain Candies and Halloween loot. You can also find a Costume Booth, which lets you pick a festive skin for your character.

At the center of the maze, an Alpha Wolf is guarding a coffin and a treasure chest. Defeat the Alpha Wolf, then interact with the coffin to obtain your main prize. After collecting the loot, exit the maze through the wooden hatch behind the coffin to safely return to the surface.

Hedge Maze Rewards

The Hedge Maze rewards vary slightly between runs, but the main chest and coffin typically contain rare and event-exclusive gear. These rewards can’t be found anywhere else in the game and make great collectibles for the Halloween season.
