TLDR:
- The 2026 Halloween event has one Halloween island in each of the three Seas, and each island has an NPC that lets you craft event items using Candy.
- Farm Candy by killing zombies on the First Sea island, summoning the Skull King in the Second Sea with 200 Candy, and defeating the hourly Jack-o’-Lantern boss in the Third Sea. Cursed Candy also drops from several bosses and can be bought in the Dread Bundle.
- The Dread Broom is craftable, so no luck is needed. You need three materials, one from each Sea: the Rotten Handle, the Corrupted String, and the Withered Straw.
King Legacy’s 2026 Halloween event arrived with Update 11 and centers on a new craftable weapon, the Dread Broom. Unlike earlier events, where limited weapons came from drop chances, this one is built around crafting, though you will need materials from all three Seas. This guide covers where the islands are, the fastest ways to farm Candy and Cursed Candy, and how to craft the Dread Broom.
What Are the King Legacy Halloween Island Locations?

Each Sea has its own Halloween island with a crafting NPC. The islands are close to existing landmarks:
| Sea | Location | What You Do There |
|---|---|---|
| First Sea | Near Zombie Island, between Sky Island and Zombie Island | Talk to the Undead Comparator NPC to craft the Rotten Handle |
| Second Sea | Near Skull Island, north of it | Spend 200 Candy at the NPC to summon the Skull King boss |
| Third Sea | Near The Unearthly Shadow, west of it | Break the rocks to enter the giant castle and meet the witch NPC who crafts the Dread Broom |
How To Farm Candy in King Legacy Halloween Event?

Candy is the main event currency of the 2026 Halloween Event of King Legacy. Here are the best sources that you can use to farm it:
- First Sea: Kill the zombies on Zombie Island. Elite zombies drop the most Candy, and also drop Undead Ooze, which you need for the Rotten Handle.
- Second Sea: Defeat the Skeletons on Skull Island, or summon the Skull King at the Halloween island for 200 Candy per summon.
- Third Sea: Defeat the Gorillas on Shallow Island, or the Jack-o’-Lantern boss that spawns about every hour on top of The Unearthly Shadow castle.
The Skull King costs 200 Candy per summon and drops Candy back, so farming it in a group is efficient. If one player carries 1,000 Candy, the others can keep fighting while the Candy gets recycled. So try to bring at least 1,000 Candy.
How To Get Cursed Candy?
Cursed Candy is a separate drop needed for the Dread Broom. These are the main methods:
| Method | Details |
|---|---|
| Defeat event bosses | Roughly 7 Cursed Candy per boss kill. Four bosses drop materials, so check the Legacy Pose for timers |
| Skull King | About an 88% chance to drop Cursed Candy |
| Dread Bundle (Shop) | Contains Cursed Candy, extra Candy, Fortune Tales, Chronicles, 1,500 Gems and 10 million Beli. Worth it only if you want to skip the grind |
How To Get the Dread Broom in King Legacy?

The Dread Broom is a craftable event weapon, so there is no drop luck involved. You need one material from each Sea, and you craft it at the witch NPC in the Third Sea castle.
| Material | Sea | How to Get It |
|---|---|---|
| Rotten Handle | First Sea | Talk to the Undead Comparator NPC on Zombie Island’s Halloween island. Costs 300 Candy plus Twilight Orbs, Undead Ooze and Logs |
| Corrupted String | Second Sea | Defeat the Skull King. It has a small drop chance of around 3.3%, and one player needed about 40 attempts |
| Withered Straw | Third Sea | Defeat the Jack-o’-Lantern boss atop The Unearthly Shadow castle. It spawns every hour |
Once you have all three, break the rocks to enter the castle in the Third Sea and talk to the witch NPC to craft the broom.
The Dread Broom’s second skill is a hold-to-fly move that gets faster the longer you hold it and explodes on release. It also has a special basic attack. With group farming, one player managed to collect the materials in a single day.
