In order to guarantee a fun gaming experience inside Dolly's Factory, you will have to familiarize yourself with its gameplay. If you have ever played Dead by Daylight, it should be familiar. To initiate a game, either enter one of the trains in the lobby or press the Play button at the top of your screen to be taken there automatically. Keep in mind that there can be up to eight players in a single game, so you can team up with your friends if you so desire. Teaming up with random players can also be beneficial since the gameplay arguably becomes easier the more people are playing.
Now that you have initiated a game, leave the train and head inside the factory zone. There, you will have to find and fix pink machines, which are scattered all across the level. To do this, simply interact with them once they have been located and complete skill checks similar to the ones found in Dead by Daylight or Outlast Trials. If you are unfamiliar with those games, simply know that you will have to click once a slider reaches the indicated green area. Doing this repeatedly will eventually fix the machines, with the exact speed of the process depending on your plushie's stats, charms, or other abilities you have access to.
Be very careful not to fail the aforementioned skill checks, as doing so will alert the Rejects, who are corrupted plushies with the purpose of hunting you down. They wander around the factory and can spot you if they randomly stumble into you as well. Regardless of how they have been alerted, they will begin chasing and damaging you, but you can lose them by hiding behind objects or dropping pallets on them. To drop a pallet, interact with it; it will be done automatically.
During your stay in the factory zone, you can collect items scattered across the factory floor. They mostly have positive effects, such as increased movement speed, increased stamina and health levels, and highlighting the game objectives and Rejects, but there are also ones with negative effects, such as slowing you down. However, the negative ones can easily be told apart by the red aura they are radiating, so be sure to avoid them at all costs.
Once you have completed all the objectives in that factory zone, head back towards the train. You should easily be able to locate it, as an arrow will be pointing towards it. Nevertheless, you will have to do this before the timer runs out, or you will have failed the mission.
While taking the train towards the next factory zone, you will be given a bit of time to speak to Dexter, an NPC running a shop inside the train, which sells the aforementioned items or permanent buffs, so make sure to always pay him a visit.
