Start the quest by clicking the teleport button and selecting the Tales of the Dark King Quest. Talk to Lana in the lobby, then go down the path to start the challenge. Chapter One includes taking soul fuel and filling the lantern to power your boat, while making sure that the evil souls don't climb in. When the fuel runs out, replenish it by walking on land and collecting more glowing orbs. Chapter Two has multiple puzzles and the end goal to escape all the monsters and Agamemnon himself. Chapter Three is a Boss Battle against Nestra.

How to Start Tales of the Dark King Quest in DTI
To enter the Tales of the Dark King Quest in Dress To Impress, the first thing you need to do is click on the teleport button on the bottom left, and select this event challenge on the right side. Once you teleport to the spooky lobby, you need to read a letter hidden in a drawer then speak to our beloved Lana.
She will briefly explain that our soul has traveled to the underworld and that a difficult journey awaits. Once you're done talking, exit through the opening next to her and keep following the path until you reach an NPC called Styx that will give you the actual quest. When you're done with the convo, simply walk to one of the platforms and choose to play solo or with other fellow players.
Tales of the Dark King Chapter One in DTI
Chapter one has two challenges that must be completed so that you can make it to the Soul Field. Your character is going to be on a boat floating along the river Styx, and your main objective is to get fuel from one side of the boat and then place it on the other side there the lantern is. You have to be quick because the fuel is fast to run out, and if this happens you'll be forced to start again. Another thing you have to look out for are the evil souls that are trying to get on board. Walk over to them and whack them with a stick to stop them. They have a timer for how long it takes for them to climb on, so be careful to keep the fuel going and hitting them before it's too late.
Don't fret once you run out of oil, because there are three rounds of this same gameplay. The boat will make a stop once the resources run out, and you have to walk around and collect 10 orbs that you will use to power the boat and keep going. Keep in mind that the difficulty increases as you progress.
Chapter One ends with you meeting two of the three sisters that were attacked by Agamemnon, and they give you a necklace that will be useful later on.
Tales of the Dark King Chapter Two in DTI
If you got too comfortable while playing the previous chapter, I have bad news! What follows is an insanely hard challenge filled with mazes, time limited puzzles and monsters chasing you. Chapter Two has it all, so arm yourself with a lot of patience, because each fail restarts everything from the beginning.
Once you leave the boat, you speak to the third sister, Atropos, and she tells you that you need to break into Agamemnon's mansion to gather two special items to save her sisters. Once you're done interacting, follow the road up the hill and enter the house on the left to collect a key. This key opens the gates to the palace, and it's located if you keep following the left side of the path.
Entering the mansion closes the gate and starts a timer. You have until 7am to escape and complete the first challenge. The objective is to collect 3 Golden Medallions and place them below a statue in the main area of the building to open the secret door leading to the tunnels.
Puzzle 1
Keep going straight until you reach a room with pedestals displaying various objects. This will be important for later, as you have to come back to set them up in the correct order. Enter the garden where the statue is, then keep going straight until you reach the fenced area, then make a left. This is where the 1st clue is located on the wall. From there, keep going left and enter the second door, then make a right, the 2nd clue is on the wall as well. In the same room, just enter the main area, and look for a bookshelf on the right, the 3rd clue is right there. Now, go back to the 1st clue you found, and just keep walking right along the wall until you reach the other side for the final 4th clue.
Once you complete this, return to the room with pedestals, and look for the piece of paper on the wall, because this tells you the exact order you need to place the items in. Keep in mind that this is unique to each player, so you must follow the combo you were provided with in the game. Completing this unlocks the first Golden Medallion that you have to place below the big goddess statue.
Puzzle 2
Placing the Golden Medallion unlocks the bedroom door located on the far left. Enter the room and interact with the note on the bed. You get another unique combination to memorize and use in the library. This is the same room where you found clue 2 and 3 in the previous puzzle. Look at the tiles in the main part of the library and recreate the pattern from the paper by stepping on them. This unlocks a hidden door behind the empty bookshelf. This is where you collect a key needed to unlock one of the rooms in the courtyard.
Make sure you don't miss the paper that appears on the floor next to the doorframe, because it appears only when you get the key. Memorize the number on it because you need 2 more to complete the second part of this puzzle. Now go to the locked door located behind the statue and enter, then keep walking straight to the altar and you'll get the next numeral on the floor. Exit and take a left, then a right to the end of the hall, and go inside the room on the left. Just keep going straight until you reach the kitchen, the last numeral clue is on the counter.
You have all 3 roman numerals, so leave the dining area and take a right to the middle door. Enter and go left to the bath, then look down for the puzzle on the floor. Click on each circle to set the numbers in order and collect the Medallion that spawns. Bring it to the statue and place it.
Puzzle 3
Performing this unlocks the bedroom on the left. Take the vase and take it to the area where you found the 2nd roman numeral clue. Place it on the altar and claim the final Medallion. Just like the previous two, place it beneath the statue. This unlocks the secret entrance.
How to Complete the Secret Tunnel
Go down the stairs and make a right, then another right followed by two lefts - and finally you reach a dead end with stacked coffins where you can collect a key. Go back where you came from, and keep going straight until you reach a locked gate. This is where you start getting haunted by a crawling monster, so make sure your volume is up since you can hear when it's near. You have multiple objectives: find the stairs leading down, go through a narrow opening and collect a rope, then retrace your steps until you find a pillar on the left. Climb up and break a cage, because you need the key hidden inside. Use this key to open the last locked gate on the right bottom stairs near the spooky entrance. Just don't forget that the monster is hot on your heels at all times, so cut corners and hide out of sight.
This is where the flashlight you're holding comes to play. As you're walking along the corridor, make sure to shine the light on the statues to stop them from coming alive and eating you. Make sure to keep the shine on their faces and be fast. Another door awaits you, and this is where you can relax, because the monsters cannot follow.
How to Complete the Ritual Puzzle
Before going to the main room, use both staircases on the left and right to collect the scissors and thread because these are the key items. Now it's time to follow the recipe in the summoning area to complete the ritual. You will create two potions, and write two spells following the instructions attached to each crafting table. Doing this successfully spawns a monster from the cauldron, and now it's time to RUN for your life while making sure that the falling objects don't crush you. You can allow yourself to feel safe only when a cutscene of you making it out alive starts.
Tales of the Dark King Chapter Three in DTI
If you made to Chapter Three of the Tales of the Dark King, you're a true star because the difficulty is insane! All that's left to do is win in an epic boss battle against Nestra, Flesh Incarnate. Use the bow and arrow to attack the creature, while making sure to avoid all the magic blasts aimed at your head. The best way to go about this is by keeping a safe distance and jumping whenever the floor starts glowing. Lock in and keep attacking until you defeat it.
We can all take a deep breath because bringing the vase down to the boat concludes this difficult quest. Just follow the lanterns scattered on the ground until you reach the docks.
