If you want to play Drill for Brainrots but are having a hard time understanding the core gameplay and the various mechanics of the game, this complete Drill for Brainrots beginner’s guide is for you. Read on to learn how to get brainrots, how to break through to the high-rarity areas, and a lot more.
How to Play Drill for Brainrots

The core gameplay loop for Drill for Brainrots is similar to other brainrot tycoon games on Roblox. You collect brainrots, place them in your plot so they generate money, and then you can collect and use that money to buy upgrades, unlock more worlds, and collect the best brainrots the game has to offer.
To collect brainrots, you simply have to go to the brainrot spawning area, pick up the brainrot you want, and go back to your plot to place it down. You don’t need to escape any guards or NPCs, and there’s no risk of losing the brainrot you’ve picked up.
At the end of each area, you can drill through the floor to enter a high-rarity area filled with better, high-earning brainrots. Here’s a list of all rarities in Drill for Brainrots:
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
- Mythic
- Divine
- Secret
- OG
- Ancient
- Primordial
- Eternal
As you progress through the different areas, the floor that you have to drill through gets tougher and tougher. So, you’ll need to regularly increase your drill power to easily drill through to high-rarity areas. Read on to learn how to do that.
How to Increase Drill Power in Drill for Brainrots

There are two ways to increase your drill power in Drill for Brainrots:
- Buy a better drill: Go to the Drill Shop and upgrade your drills. Better drills have a higher power multiplier and will massively increase your overall drill power. The Interdimensional Drill is the best drill in the game right now, but it costs 50B Crystals. As a beginner, aim for the Coldspell Drill, and it should help you clear the early and mid-game content.
- Upgrade your Power: To the right of the Drill Shop is the Power Upgrades Shop. You can increase your drilling power by +1, +5, or +10 using in-game cash or Robux. Your drilling power gets multiplied by the drill’s power multiplier to decide your total drilling power.
As you progress through the areas and unlock more worlds, you’ll need to increase your power accordingly if you don’t want to spend too much time drilling through the floors. Drill and Drill Power Upgrades are two highly important stats. So, make sure you focus on these early on and only start thinking about Rebirths and Money Multipliers once you have some decent Ancient brainrots in your base.
