How to Enter Mariana’s Veil in Fisch - How to Get Drill & Build a Submarine
To enter the Mariana's Veil in Fisch, you'll first need to build a submarine. To start the questline and get the Drill, visit Dr. Glimmerfin at his platform at Roslit Bay (-1320, 130, 300). You will need five parts to build the submarine, and you can get them all by drilling the obsidian rocks around Roslit Bay. Each part has a 5% chance to drop, and they are:
- Windows
- Submarine Top
- Side Fins
- Metal Panels
- Back Fins
Once you have all of the items, interact with the submarine at the docks to place them one by one. You need to be holding each item in your hands to interact successfully. Once you've placed all the items, interact with Dr. Glimmerfin to open the path to Mariana's Veil in the middle of the Roslit Bay alcove.
All Mariana's Veil Areas & How to Reach Them
There are different areas within the Mariana's Veil, and to go between them, you'll need to complete a submarine upgrade (check the section at the bottom) each time and traverse the underwater tunnels. Here are all the areas and how to reach them:
- Volcanic Vents (1st area): Dive under the Roslit Bay alcove and through the hole at (-2740, -2320, 860). Follow the tunnels until you reach the area.
- Challenger's Deep (2nd area): Dive with the sub and go back through the tunnels from the Volcanic Vents. Continue backtracking until you find the icy entrance at -2630, -3830, 750.
- Abyssal Zenith (3rd area): Dive with the sub and go back through the Challenger's Deep entrance, and you'll see a newly opened hole. Dive down and progress through an insanely long set of caves. Towards the end, you'll have to bypass several Anglerfish, which teleport you to the beginning of that section if you get spotted. Afterward, continue through the tunnels to reach the Abyssal Zenith (-5370, -7390, 400).
- Calm Zone (4th area): Dive one last time and track back the path towards the Abyssal Zenith. Then, continue downwards towards the last area, Calm Zone (-5370, -7390, 400).
