In this guide, we will explore the pirate factions that came to Fisch with the trading update: Red Marlins, Midas' Mates, and Soul Reapers (Ghosts). How the faction ranks work, how to get Doubloons, where to get pirate faction quests, and more. So, scroll down, and let's get started!
What Are Pirate Factions in Fisch?
Pirate Factions are the primary way to earn Dubloons in Fisch, which you will need to trade in the Trading Plaza. You'll earn Dubloons, as well as faction reputation, by solving quests. Increased reputation will give you rewards and unlock more difficult and more rewarding sets of quests. There are three pirate factions in Fisch right now, each having a unique set of quests with increasing quest difficulty and rewards:
- Red Marlins: Offers the easiest quests and is intended to be the first pirate faction you clear.
- Midas' Mates: Has medium-difficulty quests and is intended to be the second faction you clear.
- Soul Reapers (Ghosts): Has the hardest quests and best rewards. You need to clear the two other factions first before you can start doing quests for this one.
You'll need to talk to the faction quest NPC to accept quests. Each time, you'll have 3 different quests to pick. You can pick all of them if you want, though you can have only 3 active quests at a time. Quests are refreshed every hour, and you can use Robux to refresh them immediately.
Red Marlins

Red Marlins are the first pirate faction you encounter in Fisch, and they are located on the Castaway Cliffs (700, 135, -1700) in the First Sea. Fisch Pirate Factions FAQ
You can't manually cancel pirate faction quests, though being AFK for a long enough time or a soft data reset can clear them for you. Since it's so unpredictable, it's better to accept only the quests you're confident you can solve.
