Update 62 of Anime Last Stand has brought a new evolution for The Umbral Prince.
You can evolve one of the best Celestial units into Umbral Prince (Eclipse) by completing a story-driven questline in ALS. If you don't have the unit yet, this guide will walk you through the process of obtaining and evolving the Umbral Prince in Anime Last Stand.
How to Get The Umbral Prince in Anime Last Stand
You can unlock The Umbral Prince in Anime Last Stand from the Underworld Dimension. Follow the steps below:
- Play Sacrificial Realm (Story) in Infinite Mode. There's a 0.5% chance of getting Underworld Dimension Portals, so you're in for some grind. Also, the tier of the Underworld Dimension Portals doesn't matter. All that matters is that you get some portals.
- Once you get Underworld Dimension Portals, spawn and clear the portal to get The Umbral Prince. The owner of the portal has a 100% chance of obtaining The Umbral Prince; others have only a 5% chance.
Now that you have The Umbral Prince in your ranks, you can evolve him into Unleased Umbral Prince or Umbral Prince (Eclipse).
How to Evolve Umbral Prince in ALS
The Umbral Prince has two evolutions in Anime Last Stand. First is the Unleashed Umbral Prince, which is the old evolution and is relatively easy to obtain. Then, there's the Umbral Prince (Eclipse) evolution, which was added to the game in Update 62. You have to complete a questline to unlock the evolution recipe and gather the required materials.
Unleashed Umbral Prince Evolution Requirements
To evolve Umbral Prince to Unleashed Umbral Prince, you need the following materials:
- 1x The Umbral Prince.
- 10x Mythic Spirit Shard.
- 25x Legendary Spirit Shard.
- 75x Epic Spirit Shard.
- 100x Rare Spirit Shard.
- 250x Common Spirit Shard.
- 1x King Egg. (Drops from the Underworld Dimension and Craftable at the Crafting station for 5000x Coins.)
Now, you simply go to Units, find The Umbral Prince, and tap on evolve to get Unleashed Umbral Prince. If you try and evolve the Unleased Umbral Prince unit, you'll see that the Evolve button does not appear anymore. That's because, to get the Umbral Prince (Eclipse) evolution, you have to complete his questline.
How to Evolve Unleashed Umbral Prince to Umbral Prince (Eclipse)
- In World 2, talk to the Griffith NPC sitting on the base of the rock, left to the stairs of the Summon area, to start the questline.
- He'll ask you to get an Eclipse Seed. Play any Story that has Dark Enemies on Infinite and keep clearing waves until you get the seed.
- Once you're finished, talk to him again to unlock the Unleashed Umbral Prince evolution recipe.
Umbral Prince (Eclipse) Evolution Requirements - Evo Recipe
You'll need the following materials to evolve into Umbral Prince (Eclipse) in Anime Last Stand:
- 1x Pristine Rapier.
- 250x Dark Essence.
- 250x Light Essence.
- 300x Sacrifice Essence.
- 20x Mythic Spirit Shard.
- 50x Legendary Spirit Shard.
- 50x Epic Spirit Shard.
You can get all the Shards you need from the different Shops and farm Essences in the Elemental Caverns. The only material that's hard to obtain is the Pristine Rapier. For that, you have to play Act 2 of the Sacrificial Realm in Legends Stages. It has a 1.5% drop chance, so you might be grinding these stages for some time.
Once you have all the materials required, simply go to the Units tab and evolve the Unleashed Umbral Prince to Umbral Prince (Eclipse).
