The profit you make selling off the junk you get while scavenging in the game depends on how valuable the object is. You should find the best shovel and detector in Desert Detectors to find the most precious treasures fast.
Where to find the best shovel and detector in Desert Detectors
Currently, the Primal Skull shovel and the Ringed Radar detector are the best equipment you can find in Desert Detectors. The best shovel costs 50,000 coins, and you'll have to spend an additional 25,000 coins for the detector. Therefore, you must grind hard to significantly increase your savings by selling good finds.
The best shovel and detector in Desert Detectors are located deep in the desert, but near the town you spawn in. You simply need to head northeast, as I've shown in the image above. Because they are located at a distance, you can grab a golf cart from the Dusty Drivin' garage by the Saloon (see the second image). I suggest going for the Carbon Cruiser if you have money to spare.
Follow the general NE direction on your compass and you'll soon find yourself surrounded by some mountains with a small building visible in the distance as seen above. Upon reaching the building, you'll find a merchant standing outside with whom you can trade your junk.
The real treasure and the goods you've come to obtain are inside the building. Head upstairs and you'll find the Primal Skull shovel placed by the window. Subsequently, you can obtain the Ringed Radar detector from the balcony. Don't forget, you'll need 75,000 coins in total to buy both of these items and become the master explorer in Desert Detectors.
Furthermore, the same building houses some other less expensive yet premium tools. You can purchase the Steel Skull detector and Steel Skull shovel from the ground floor by the staircase for 14,000 and 15,000 coins respectively. Right outside the building, you can also find the Seraded shovel (35,000) and Prehistoric detector (17,000). Although these equipment are not the best, they are definitely worth adding to your collection.
