If you consider yourself a completionist, then collecting every Badge in The Forge is basically mandatory. It’s not even a question - it’s just what you do. From simple tasks like finding a cure for Isaac to completing all the Goblin King quests, there’s no two ways about it: you’re going to have to grind. A lot. In this guide, I’ll walk you through everything you need to do to finish every Badge quest in The Forge and claim them all.
How to Get Every Badge in The Forge
Right now, in the early beta, there are 31 Badges you can earn in The Forge. Some are as simple as getting killed for the first time, while others are (quite literally) impossible to complete at the moment. A few take seconds, but others stretch across multiple regions and require several quests to finish. With that out of the way, here's the complete list of all The Forge Badges and how to complete every corresponding quest.
| Badge | Description | How to Complete |
|---|---|---|
![]() Early Tester | Officially survived the 24H Stress Test before the release! | This one is no longer possible to get, as the 24H pre-release stress test is behind us. |
![]() Beginner Forger | You've forged your first Equipment! | Simply craft anything in The Forge, and you'll earn this Badge. |
![]() Novice Smith | You've forged 10 pieces of equipment! | You'll earn it once you craft your first 10 pieces of gear. |
![]() Skilled Hammerhand | You've forged 35 pieces of equipment! | Just keep crafting what you need, and you'll get there. |
![]() Adept Blacksmith | You've forged 100 pieces of equipment! | You guessed it - more crafting! |
![]() Tempered Artisan | You've forged 250 pieces of equipment! | Not much to explain here, simply craft items in The Forge, and you'll eventually reach this number. |
![]() Master of the Anvil | You've forged 500 pieces of equipment! | Congrats, you've played the crafting minigames at least 500 times! |
![]() Beginner Miner | You've mined your first Rock! | Head into the mines, destroy the easiest rock, and that's it. |
![]() Novice Miner | You've mined 100 Rocks! | This one is fairly easy as well; you'll eventually earn it through completing mining quests. Make sure to buy stronger Pickaxes regularly. |
![]() Skilled Digger | You've mined 500 Rocks! | This one’s a bit tougher, but you’ll get there. If you really want to speed up the process, you can mine only pebbles, though I don’t recommend it, because it’s really not worth the time. |
![]() Adept Excavator | You've mined 2,500 Rocks! | This one requires some serious grinding; you'll have to mine a lot. |
![]() Crystal Delver | You've mined 10,000 Rocks! | I suggest using some AFK pebbles mining techniques for this one. |
![]() Master of Caves | You've mined 25,000 Rocks! | Congrats, you have become a master no-lifer! Seriously, though, you'll need months, if not years, of grinding to get this one. That's a lot of rocks to break, especially since late-game rocks are massive and require a lot of hits with a pickaxe. |
![]() Beginner Fighter | You've defeated your first Enemy | Beat a low-level Zombie, and you're good. |
![]() Novice Slayer | You've defeated 25 Enemies! | You'll get this one as you complete your early-game quests that require defeating enemies. |
![]() Battle Hardened | You've defeated 100 Enemies! | Just as the previous one, it is relatively easy to achieve; just follow the enemy-beating quest lines, and it will come naturally. |
![]() Skilled Vanquisher | You've defeated 500 Enemies! | This one is a bit tougher, but still very achievable as long as you complete the quests that ask you to defeat enemies in the mines. |
![]() Elite Hunter | You've defeated 2000 Enemies! | This one demands some serious grind and dedication. Expect to spend weeks (and dozens of hours) fighting your way through enemies. |
![]() Master of the Battlefield | You've defeated 8000 Enemies! | A couple of thousand players have already achieved this one. So it is possible, but you'll have to put all your time into it, just constantly fighting enemies, one after another. Grinding low-level Zombies seems like the best way to go here. |
![]() Brave… but Not So Smart | Died for the first time | Let an enemy defeat you. |
![]() Doesn't taste great, but works. | Drink a Potion | Buy any Potion from Maria, the Potion NPC vendor, and drink it. |
![]() The Guitar Finder | Find Bard's Guitar | Complete the Lost Guitar quest. Check out our complete walkthrough for the quest. |
![]() Holy Pickaxe Moment | Explore Arcane Pickaxe's cave | Use the Unknown Key to unlock the Fallen's Angel Cave. |
![]() What happened here? | Explore the Forgotten Kingdom | Simply enter the Forgotten Kingdom mines, and you'll earn this one. |
![]() Scammed by the King | Finish all Goblin King Quests | You'll need to complete the whole Goblin King quest line. For that, you will need, in total $75,000, 3 Topaz, 5 Diamonds, 5 Emeralds, and 5 Rubies. |
![]() You Passed Line’s Standards | Finish Line's quest | You will find Line on the Forgotten Kingdom island. He'll give you the Line’s Needs questline. Complete it, and you'll earn this Badge. |
![]() Monke Business | Find Bananite for Monke | There's an NPC named Monke. He's hungry, and you'll need to bring him 30 Bananites in order to get this Badge. |
![]() Cure for Isaac | Find a cure for Isaac | Isaac is a tired, wounded warrior you’ll find in Captain Rowan’s camp at the entrance to the Forgotten Kingdom. Help him recover to earn this achievement. |
![]() Slimes and Crystals!?! | Find the Goblin Cave | You'll need to complete the aforementioned Goblin King questline in order to unlock the cave. |
![]() Spice Level: Reaper | Explore Volcanic Depths | You'll first need to unlock the Volcanic Depths zone, which is an end-game area inside the Forgotten Kingdom. |
![]() Professional Rescuer | Bring Tomo's Cat Back | Complete the whole Tomo's Cat questline. Mind you, this will be one of the first quests you'll start in the game, but the cat is inside the Goblin Cave, which is a late-game area. |
How to Find a Cure for Isaac in The Forge

This achievement is relatively easy but surprisingly elusive for The Forge players. As of now, less than 4% of the player base has managed to complete this quest and earn the badge. So what do you actually need to do? Thankfully, it's one of the simplest and most straightforward quests in the entire game. Here’s how to complete it:
- Head to the second island, the Forgotten Kingdom
- Go to Captain Rowan’s camp at the entrance to the Forgotten Kingdom mines.
- You’ll find Isaac there. Speak to him.
- Ask him if he's okay.
- He’ll explain that he isn’t and will ask you to bring him a Health Potion. This starts the quest.
- The important part: you must bring him Health Potion I, which can only be purchased on the first island.
- If you try bringing him a Health Potion II (the one sold on the second island), he’ll say: "Is this a joke to you?"
- Once you give him the right Health Potion, he'll get better, and the quest will be completed.
How to Explore Arcane Pickaxe's Cave - Holy Pickaxe Moment Badge

The next achievement that players often find confusing is Holy Pickaxe Moment. Where exactly is this cave, and how do you find it? The trick is that the cave isn’t actually called Arcane Pickaxe’s Cave at all - its real name is Fallen Angel’s Cave. To unlock it, you’ll first need the Unknown Key. We have a full guide explaining where to use the Unknown Key and how to locate the cave, which is named Arcane Pickaxe’s Cave in the Badge. Be sure to check it out.
You Passed Line’s Standards - Where to Find Line?
Another achievement that often confuses players is the You Passed Line’s Standards Badge. To earn it, you need to complete Line’s quest, but the real challenge is figuring out who Line even is, and where to find him. Line is located just outside the hub area on the second island. Check the image below for his exact position relative to the Pickaxe vendor.

To find him, turn immediately right from the spawning zone in the Forgotten Kingdom. Follow the road, and you’ll spot him on the right side of the path, crouched down and interacting with the ground. He’s an elf, possibly the last remaining one from the heyday of the Forgotten Kingdom. He wears a dark-green robe and has a cute green parrot perched on his shoulder.
Talk to him to begin the Line’s Needs quest. Line is looking for a special ore for his work, and that ore is Fireite, one of the rarest resources in the entire game, with a drop rate of just 1 in 2187. You can only obtain Fireite by mining Volcanic Rocks, which are located in the late-game zone known as Volcanic Depths. Don’t stress about getting it ASAP, it’s a late-game ore, and you’ll be grinding for a while before you find one. Just take your time.
Professional Rescuer - Bring Tomo's Cat Back Badge
This one confuses a lot of players, mainly because it looks like an easy early-game quest. After all, Tomo is one of the first NPCs you meet. But in reality, this ends up being one of the final quests you’ll complete. The reason is simple: Tomo’s cat is hidden deep inside The Forge’s late-game zone, the Goblin Cave.
And in order to reach the Goblin Cave, you'll first have to complete the whole Goblin King questline, and that means forking out a hefty 75,000 gold and providing a bag full of rare Ores, namely 3 Topaz, 5 Diamonds, 5 Emeralds, and 5 Rubies. Only then will you be able to enter the Goblin Cave and find Tomo's missing cat.
The Forge Badges & Achievements FAQ
It's the Master of Caves achievement, which you get after mining 25,000 rocks. Only around 100 players have ever won this Badge.
If you haven't earned the Early Tester achievement before, you will not be able to collect all the Badges.
If you have the time and the patience, farming low-level Zombies with good gear is the simplest method. They’re weak, go down instantly, deal very little damage, and respawn nonstop.
There are five quests in the Goblin King questline, and each one requires increasingly larger amounts of gold and progressively rarer ores to complete.
The fastest method is to craft the cheapest daggers you can and ignore quality entirely, just rush the process and churn out daggers as quickly as possible.
