How to get and evolve Boo in Anime Vanguards

With the latest Update 5 to Anime Vanguards, the new unit Boo has been added and you can acquire it for your roster. But, exacting how to get it, and evolve it into its Evil Form can be confusing for most players. So, to help you with that, here's a comprehensive guide on how to get and evolve Boo in Anime Vanguards with ease.

How to get Boo in Anime Vanguards

Currently, you cannot recruit the Boo unit through Banners or summons, rather you can only get it by clearing a secret portal stage that can be spawned by completing select story stages and Legend Stages.

The secret Boo portal stage only appears at about a 2% spawn chance when clearing any stages in the Martial Island Story Mode Stages and Legend Stages in Anime Vanguards. You'll get the notification "A god portal has opened", and can access the secret stage by entering the portal at the end of the path. Beating it guarantees a Boo drop.

How to evolve Boo in Anime Vanguards

Even though Boo is a secret unit in Anime Vangaurds, you can evolve it to its Evil form by collecting certain evolution materials. Here are all the items that you need to evolve Boo:

• 12x Mojan Essence (Guaranteed Drop at Legend Stage Land of the Gods)
• 40x Green Essence Stone
• 12x Blue Essence Stone
• 20x Pink Essence Stone
• 12x Red Essence Stone
• 2x Rainbow Essence Stone
• 30,000 Gold
• 5,000 Takedowns

All Essence Stones can be obtained by completing Challenges or Crafting. Evolving Boo unlocks nine new passive skills, one new active skill, and the following transformations: Super Boo, Boockleo, Bootonks, Boohon, and Kid Boo.

How to transform Boo in Anime Vanguards

Boo is one of the most unique characters in Anime Vanguards, and is part of the few units that can Transform. Boo's passives, The Ultimate Evil and Innocence Lost allow him to gain Candy Stacks which in turn allow him to Transform once he's upgraded to Level 7.

You can see the number of Candy Stacks on the left side of the screen during a stage. After Upgrade 7, you'll unlock the Transforming Terror passive which allows you to consume Candy Stacks. Through this, you can transform Boo from his regular evil form all the way to Boohon.
