How to Get Heart Geodes in Abyss
Heart Geodes are introduced in Abyss as a limited-time Geode during the Valentine's Day event, and there is a special way to get them. While the rest of the Geodes can be obtained through fishing in the the three areas of the game, the Heart Geode can only be bought from the Cupcake NPC, who's located outside of the Forgotten Dome.
To find him, you should look for the Valentine's Area sign in the Dome which points you right towards it. You can also see the location marked on the map with question marks (until you've been here, in which case it will state it's the Valentine's Area).
The price for one Heart Geode is 10 VTickets, and there are multiple ways for you to collect this currency. Also, keep in mind that the shop restocks every 10 minutes so you can come back and keep buying it until you get the Artifact you want, if you don't mind wasting limited currency.
How to Get VTickets in Abyss
VTickets are a new currency exclusively added for Valentine's Day, so make sure you don't miss it! Here is how you can earn them in the game:
- By accepting daily quests from Big Boss and Post Bird NPCs. Keep in mind that these reset 24 hours after you have submitted all the daily quests back to them, and not every 24 hours server wide. So make sure you time the completion of these quests to be around the same time each day to get the most out of this event.
- By doing the mini-game and catching special fish with the Cupid or Lonely mutations (they have a chance of appearing in the mini-game instead of the Treasure Chest geode you can in the area you are fishing in).
What Does The Heart Geode Do in Abyss?
I fear that this heart needs to be broken if you want the Heart Geodes to be useful to you. Cracking a Geode is hard work, but it's very worth it because you get one of the three Artifacts which give you additional boosts:
- Teddy Bear (63.8%)
- Love Gift (35%)
- Hear of Love (1.2%)
To open Heart Geodes in Abyss, you need to go to Virelia NPC, pay 250 dollars, and wait for three minutes. Once you obtain them, you can check their stats out and decide if you wish to equip them as part of your loadout.
