How to get Katana Man Hybrid in Devil Hunter
The Katana Man Hybrid requires a lot of grind. And since there’s heavy reliance on RNG too, completing the whole process could take hours. You’ll also need a party, because some of the requirements are nearly impossible to complete solo.

Join the Yakuza
Before anything else, go to the Yakuza Building and talk to the Yakuza Leader to leave Public Safety and become a member of the Yakuza Faction. When you talk to him, he’ll give you the following quest:
- Gather Money for the organization - Earn 80,000 Yen.
- Kill 5 members of Public Safety - You must kill 5 players.
After completing these two tasks, return to the Yakuza Leader to officially become a member of the Yakuza. You will lose all your Devil Contracts as soon as you become a Yakuza member, so keep that in mind before accepting the quest.
To find the Yakuza Building, go to City Outskirts and follow the main road. You’ll soon see a pedestrian overhead bridge. Next to that bridge is a small building with yellow text over it and an open door. That is the Yakuza Building.
Obtain Katana Devil Heart
The real grind for Katana Man Hybrid begins after you join the Yakuza. Now, you have to farm the Katana Man Raid to collect materials and forge the Katana Devil Heart. The Katana Devil Heart is a consumable item that will transform you into the Katana Man Hybrid in Devil Hunters.
Here’s how to get the Katana Devil Heart:
- Play the Katana Man Raid to get Katana Devil Fragments. You need to collect 6 Devil Fragments. Every time you clear the Katana Man Raid, there’s a 10% chance for the Katana Devil Fragment to drop.
- Equip and use the 6 Katana Devil Fragments one after the other to forge the Katana Devil Heart.
Once you have to Katana Devil Heart, equip it from your inventory and press M1 to consume it. A cutscene will play, which shows your character swapping their heart with the Katana Devil Heart. After the cutscene is over, you can now use the Katana Man Hybrid.
How to Use Katana Man Hybrid in Devil Hunter
To use the Katana Man Hybrid form, press L. A cutscene will start, showing your character’s transformation into the Katana Man. With the Katana Man equipped, you can continue using your original moves, but with the added bonus of Katana Man abilities and a massive damage buff.
The Katana Man Hybrid form is directly connected to your Soul Bar. Once your Soul Bar gets depleted, you’ll transform back into your normal self. If you want to use the Katana Man form for prolonged periods, invest Stat Points into Sanity.
