How to get rid of Bounty in Rune Slayer

In Rune Slayer, you get to venture into a fantastical world sprawling with various monsters and tons of treasures to loot. But, sometimes you might find yourself in PvP situations or completing assassination jobs which can put a bounty on your head. So, here's how you can get rid of bounty in Rune Slayer, without dying.

How to clear Bounty in Rune Slayer

When you assassinate or kill other players, you'll get a bounty on your head. As long as you have a bounty, you are marked as a criminal. That means the NPCs like guards and even other players will attack you on sight to claim the bounty. If they get you, you can lose quite a few items.

To avoid such unfortunate encounters, there's a much more peaceful way to resolve this problem without having to die. You can easily pay off your bounty by talking to the Lockmeier NPC in Rune Slayer. He will charge you a specific sum to clear your name. It can range from a few Silver (for 1-2 bounties) to upwards of 20+ gold coins for more extensive bounties. After this, you won't be attacked by NPCs or players alike.

Lockmeier NPC Location

The Lockmeier NPC is located in Wayshire, which is the starting town. You can find him on the clear side (right) of the Inn beside the Guild building where you respawn after dying. He is at the backside, leaning against the Inn's wall.

Talk to him and pay the required sum of Silver or Gold to clear your bounty in Rune Slayer. Do note, that the guards in the town and near the Guild might attack you when trying to reach this NPC while there's a bounty on you. That's why I recommended taking a detour, climbing up from the backside of the town, and talking to him first thing.
