How to get Roland, Okarun, and D4C in Verse Piece [Valentine Event]

With the Verse Piece Valentine 2025 Event update, we have three new combat styles: Roland, Okarun, and D4C. Getting them can be a little tricky, but I'm here to help. Here, I will go over how you can get each of these combat styles in Verse Piece.

How to get Roland Ruina in Verse Piece

To get Roland, you first have to locate Roland NPC and complete his requirements to get the Roland combat style. To find Roland, head over to the Karakura Town island, which is in the top left corner of the starter island, while you are looking towards the small beach. When there, you will Roland standing near the the building in the corner you just came from.

He will require 10,000 Gold, 1 Library of Ruina, and the Black Silence Trait. Getting gold is straightforward and is done by killing NPCs and completing quests. Next, we have the Library of Ruina that you can randomly get from any chest, but the chances of getting it are extremely low.

So you will be grinding for a while before you get your hands on it. Lastly, for the Black Silence trait, you have to keep rerolling your trait and hope to get it. If you are unable to get the last two items for Roland, you can try trading for them with others.

How to get Okarun in Verse Piece

Next, we have the Okarun combat style, which can be obtained from the Okarun NPC. To find him, head to Karakura Town and go inside the tunnel in the middle road (opposite of all the other islands). When you are there, you will see the Okarun NPC, and he will require 75,000 Gold, 1 Turbo Granny Sould, 2 Golden Balls, 1 Okarun Glasses, and 25 Turbo Artifacts to give you Okarun combat style.

To get all of these items, you have to defeat the Okarun boss, and you can do that at the same location. There will be an Okarun Boss Spawn NPC on the other side, and giving him 5,000 Gold and 50 Boss Tickets will spawn the Okarun Boss. Defeat him to get all the needed items, and talk to Okarun once you have all of them to get his combat style.

How to get D4C in Verse Piece

Lastly, we have D4C, which is a combat ability that you can purchase from the Valentine Shop for 75,000 hearts. You can get hearts by defeating mobs and bosses, but 75,000 is a huge number, so it will take a while. Another way to get D4C is opening the Valentine Chests or defeating the Funny Valentine Boss that spawns on Valentine Island every 15 minutes, but these options are luck-based.
