To get the Sewer Key, you need to solve a lever puzzle and then pick up the Sewer Key from a hidden location. You must pull the Blue Lever, the Red Lever, and the Green Lever in sequence. After that, unpull the Red Lever and the Blue Lever. Then, pull the Purple Lever and the Red Lever (again). After that, grab the Sewer Key and unlock the Sewer Gate. Harvest the Cosmic Cash Vine to get the Cosmic Farmer Badge.
If you’ve been wandering around the sewers and have spotted the Sewer Gate but don’t know how to unlock it, this guide is for you. You’ll need to solve a lever puzzle to find the Sewer Key to unlock the Sewer Gate and get access to the Cosmic Cash Vine that gives you tons of cash every 4 hours. However, to get the free reward, you’ll need to complete the grind. Here’s how to get the Sewer Key in Sell Lemons and become the Cosmic Farmer.
How to Get the Sewer Key in Sell Lemons
The Sewer Key can be obtained by solving a lever puzzle in the sewers of Sell Lemons. Use any manhole cover on the main street to jump down into the sewers. Once you’re there, you’ll need to pull and unpull certain levers in the maze to unlock the pathway to the Sewer Key. Read on to find out the exact locations of all the levers, the pull/unpull sequence that you need to follow, and the location of the Sewer Key.
Note: If you’ve obtained the UFO Key and the Good Smartian Badge in Sell Lemons, I suggest you change your server so the levers reset to their original conditions.
Step 1 - Pull the Blue Lever
The first lever you need to find and pull is the Blue Lever. Follow the video below to easily locate and pull the Blue Lever in Sell Lemons:
After you pull the Lever, simply use Respawn or Teleport to get back to the surface and then use any manhole cover again to come back to the sewers. This is far quicker than going back through the maze again and again.
Step 2 - Pull the Red Lever
After pulling the Blue Lever, you now have to pull the Red Lever. This is the easiest lever to locate. You can find the exact location using the video below:
Step 3 - Pull the Green Lever
The next step is to pull the Green Lever. Go to the pathway to the right of the Most Cash leaderboard and then follow the video below to easily find the Green Lever:
Step 4 - Unpull the Red Lever
To continue your hunt for the Sewer Key in Sell Lemons, you now need to go and unpull the Red Lever. This step is important because it will unlock the pathway to the final lever (Purple Lever).
Step 5 - Unpull the Blue Lever
Unpull the Red Lever and then go straight to the Blue Lever and unpull that too. Again, this step is important because it unlocks the pathway to the Purple Lever. Use the video below to easily find the Blue Lever if you don’t remember the location:
Step 6 - Pull the Purple Lever
This is a slightly harder lever to find. Make sure you keep up with the video or reduce the playback speed so you won’t miss any of the sudden turns.
After pulling the Purple Lever, simply Respawn/Teleport to the surface and then go back to the sewers to grab the Sewer Key.
Step 7 - Pull the Red Lever and Collect the Sewer Key
Now that all the pathways to the Sewer Key are open, you can collect it. It is hidden away deep in the maze, but the video below should help you find it fairly easily and quickly. Just head back to the Red Lever and pull it. A door will open on your right. Go through it and then follow the video below to find the Sewer Key:
How to Get the Cosmic Farmer Badge in Sell Lemons
To get the Cosmic Farmer Badge in Sell Lemons, you need to harvest the Cosmic Cash Vine once. For that, you need to unlock the Sewer Gate using the Sewer Key. Once you have unlocked the gate and harvested the Cosmic Cash Vine, you’ll get the Cosmic Farmer Badge.
You’ll also permanently unlock the Sewer Gate, giving you access to the Cosmic Cash Vine that you can harvest every 4 hours for a random amount of Cash.
