The Shield Breaker is a secret ability that has been added to Volleyball Legends with the new update. The only way to get this ability is by spinning for it in the Ability Spin interface. Currently, you need to be at least level 15 before this ability is included in your summon pool.

Shield Breaker - Ability showcase
As the name suggests, the Shield Breaker secret ability in Volleyball Legends causes your next spike to break through blocks. This implies that any spike shot made while using this ability cannot be blocked regardless of how many times you try.
The ability has a distinct purple lightning aesthetic, which also shows up during the game when you trigger this ability. Do note that it only applies to spikes, i.e. Jump shots, and not ground shots. Making a ground shot while using this ability will not proc the ability at all.
