How to Get the Crimson Rod and Bobber in Star Fishing
To get the Crimson Rod and Bobber in Star Fishing, you need to complete the Ancient Keys questline in the Shadow Crypts area. So, if you want to get the Crimson Rod and Bobber in Star Fishing, you must have unlocked the Enron Castle so you can access the Shadow Crypts.
After unlocking the Enron Castle, talk to the Supreme Knightlier Knightman NPC to start your journey to get the Crimson Rod in Star Fishing.
Apprehend Mini Merlin
The Supreme Knightlier Knightman NPC will ask you to apprehend Mini Merlin, found inside Gilbert’s Magic Tree. When you go to the Magic Tree and try to pick up Mini Merlin, he’ll give you the following quest:
- Collect 20 Blue Supergiant
- Collect 15 Black Hole
- Collect 50 Protoplanetary Disk
You can get all these stars at the Negative Galaxy. Make sure you have a rod with 9 Rod Strength. After collecting the required stars, go back to Mini Merlin and give him the items to get the Mystical Magic Tree and pick up Mini Merlin.
Now, bring Mini Merlin to the Supreme Knightlier Knightman NPC.
Get The Dark Stone Key
After you complete Supreme Knightlier Knightman’s quest, you’ll be able to enter the room to his left, where you can talk to the King Goobertholomew NPC (he has a really long name, but you’ll know when you see him). Upon talking to him, he’ll give you the following quest:
- Collect 2 Millisecond Pulsar
- Collect 750 Antares
- Collect 2 Nova Persei 1901
- Collect 50 Blue Supergiant
- Collect 500 Protoplanetary Disk
Once you collect all these stars, go back and talk to the King Goobertholomew NPC again to get the Dark Stone Key. With the Dark Stone Key in your hand, you can now unlock the Shadow Crypts.
Enter the Shadow Crypts
Go towards the gate across from the main entrance gate of Enron Castle, and go straight to find the entrance of the Shadow Crypts. There, you’ll use the Dark Stone Key to open the gate and go down the stairs to enter the Shadow Crypts.
Once you go down those stairs, you’ll see a closed gate to your right. You can see the Crimson Rod and the Crimson Bobber behind that gate. To open the gate, you need to collect four Ancient Keys.
Collect Four Ancient Keys
To open the four locks on the gate, you now have to collect four Ancient Keys. For that, you’ll have to find the respective statues, collect the required stars, and submit them to the respective statues.
