How to Get the Key & Rune in Blair – Halloween Spotlight Event Guide

Getting the Key and Rune in Blair for the Halloween Spotlight event is slightly easier than the other horror games in the event, mainly because you don’t really have to face any monsters for the most part. So, let’s dive right in and help you get the Key and Rune badge in Blair.

Create a Lobby and Play the Dunwich Sanatorium

To get started, you have to create or join a lobby and play in the Dunwich Sanatorium map because you can only get the Key and Badge in that map. Once the game loads, follow the steps below:

1. Click on Play.
2. Click on Create Lobby.
3. Select your Lobby’s privacy and click on Create Lobby again.
4. On the next screen, walk into the yellow area, click on Set Map, and choose Dunwich Sanatorium.
5. Keep the difficulty on easy to make things easier.
6. Click on Confirm Contract and then click on Start.

After some loading, you’ll find yourself in a van. Pick up the Flashlight before you exit the van and enter the building right in front of you. Once you’re in, you’ll have to get the Rune first, and then get the Key.

How to Get the Rune in Blair for Halloween Spotlight

To get the Rune Badge in Blair for the Roblox Halloween Spotlight event, you need to find four codes hidden in four different locations of the Dunwich Sanatorium. Even though the codes are different for everyone, they can be found in the same locations.

You’ll find the first digit of the code in Room 38. After entering the building, go straight until you see the reception area. Take a left, go through the door, and keep going straight until you see a plant to your left. From there, take a right and you’ll see Room 38 on your left. Enter the room and collect the first digit of the code.

The next digit can be found in Room 17. Exit Room 38, take a left, and then take a right to enter a long hallway. Go straight through until you see the stairs. Take a right and keep moving forward. You’ll soon reach a stack of wooden crates and find Room 17 to your left. Enter the room to collect another digit of the code.

Now, you’re heading to Room 60 for the third digit of the code. Exit Room 17 and go straight into the hallway to your left. Go through the door and go up the stairs to your right. Once you’re on the second floor, look to your right to find a white door. Go through the door to find the third digit of the code written on the wall.

For the last digit, you have to go to Room 83. From your current location, you’ll have to go straight through another white door and into a dark hallway. Keep going straight until you see some graffiti on a wall to your right. Go into that hallway and take the first right. Head straight until you see Room 83 to your left. 

Now that you have all four digits, you have to go to the Chapel Room, which is Room 47 on the first floor. So, exit Room 83 and head left until you see a staircase. Go down the stairs and head into the hallway right in front of you. Keep heading straight, and you’ll see Room 47 on your right. It has a distinct door design that is hard to miss. 

Enter the room and use the keypad to enter the code you found. After entering the code, an elevator will appear in front of you. Use the elevator to go up and go through the portal in front of you. 

That’s the first part complete. Now, you’ll spawn in the van outside the building again to start the questline for obtaining the Key.

How to Get the Key in Blair for Halloween Spotlight

After completing the Rune questline, you can start the Key questline. You’ll spawn in the van again, and you’ll see a Crystal floating in the corner of the van. To get the Key, you’ll have to place four of these Crystals (Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow) in four color-coded locations. 

Pick up the first Crystal from the van and enter the building. After entering, look to your left, and you’ll find a map that shows where you have to place each Crystal.

• Green Crystal goes to Room 92.
• Yellow Crystal goes to Room 79.
• Red Crystal goes to Room 28.
• Blue Crystal goes to a spot in the hallway, right to the reception desk.

Every time you place down a Crystal, a monster will appear for a few seconds. So, place the crystal down and run towards the van as quickly as you can. If you do get caught, you’ll die, but you won’t lose any progress.

After placing down a crystal, the next crystal will spawn in the van. So, you will have to go back every time to pick it up. Repeat the steps four times. After placing the fourth Crystal, a Key will spawn in the van. Pick that up and go back to the Chapel Room (Room 47). Insert the key in the slot to the right of the Elevator. 

An animation will start, and you’ll get both the Key and the Rune in Blair for the Roblox Halloween Spotlight event.
