Discover the info about the Magnet Fruit!

The Magnet Fruit in Blox Fruits can be obtained through the new Magnet Event by collecting Magnetic Tokens. You do that by defeating magnet user NPCs that appear every full hour. The tokens can then be spent at the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer for a chance to earn the Fruit. The skills it has access to include a passive skill that can be leveled up to level 3, and the option of transformation into a full blown robot if you manage to do so.

Blox Fruits has just gained yet another fruit. This time it's the Magnet Fruit, and it's an excellent one. Some players even say it's better than the Dragon Fruit in PvP, which was touted as the best one before Magnet arrived. Since this fruit has a unique acquisition method and an even stranger skill set than other standard fruits, we created this detailed guide covering all the stats, a skill showcase, and how to get it, so it's bound to be helpful.

The Magnet Fruit in Blox Fruits can be obtained by utilizing some of the standard methods of obtaining Fruits. This includes purchasing it from the Blox Fruit Dealer when it is in stock, rolling for one through the fruit gacha, or trading with another player. However, you will only be able to do this if you choose to partake in the new Magnet Event, which is being introduced with Update 30, alongside the major First Sea rework. Alternatively, you can buy it in the Robux Shop.

How the Magnet Event works is that, at every full hour, random enemy NPCs across the entire world will turn into magnet users. Defeating them will net you a certain amount of Magnetic Tokens, which you can then spend at the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer to roll for the new Magnetic gacha, which can drop you the Magnet Fruit.

Since the Fruit isn't widespread yet, its trading value will likely change as more players get their hands on it. If you want it as soon as possible, your best bet is to keep checking the Fruit Dealer and Gacha, or consider buying it from the shop for 3500 Robux.

How to Upgrade the Magnetic Power Passive

Upgrading the Magnetic Power passive is done by collecting Scrap that appears around you while using the Magnet Fruit. As you collect more Scrap, your Magnetic Power increases through three different stages, with each stage making your mechanical arms larger, as well as improving your M1 attacks. Reaching Stage 2 also unlocks the Magnetic Pull passive, which pulls nearby enemies toward you, while Stage 3 increases the pull range and gives you additional defense. However, keep in mind that taking damage will cause you to lose Magnetic Power, so you need to keep collecting Scrap if you want to maintain the strongest stage, or simply avoid getting damaged altogether.

The easiest way to collect Scrap is by using the Polarizing Drop ability, as holding C pulls nearby Scrap toward you and automatically collects it.

Magnet Fruit Skill Showcase

The Magnet Fruit has five skills in its normal form, with several of them having different effects depending on whether you tap or hold the ability key. Keep in mind that once you actually get the fruit, only the Z move will be available. The rest will get unlocked as you obtain Mastery levels, which you do by gaining combat XP with the fruit equipped. Here is what each of them does:

  • Scrap Arsenal (Z): Fires several magnetic projectiles that pull enemies toward them. Holding the skill instead fires a magnetic beam that deals increased damage when it hits an enemy directly.
  • Magnetic Overcharge (X): Creates a magnetic sphere around an enemy that traps them. It then explodes and deals damage, and holding the skill creates a larger sphere with increased range and damage.
  • Polarizing Drop (C): Grabs an enemy, lifts them into the air, and slams them into the ground. As we mentioned, holding this skill pulls nearby Scrap toward you and automatically collects it, making it easier to increase your Magnetic Power.
  • Jetpack (F): Grabs a nearby enemy and forces them to unequip their sword. Holding the skill activates your Jetpack, allowing you to fly around while still using your other abilities.
  • Maximum Overdrive (V): Transforms you into the Magnet Fruit's Robot form.

Magnet Fruit Maximum Overdrive Transformation in Blox Fruits

Once you activate Maximum Overdrive in Blox Fruits, the Magnet Fruit changes into a powerful Robot form and gives you access to a new version of each skill. While they mostly share the same names as the normal versions, they are mostly stronger than the normal versions. Specifically, several provide increased range, damage, or crowd control. Keep in mind that Maximum Overdrive can only be activated when you have the third level of Magnetic Power Passive. Here is what each Maximum Overdrive skill does:

  • Scrap Arsenal (Z): Fires missiles that automatically aim toward nearby enemies. Holding the skill instead fires a powerful laser beam from the Robot, allowing you to deal heavy damage to enemies in front of you.
  • Magnetic Overcharge (X): Fires a large scrap projectile that explodes when it reaches its target. Holding the skill creates a magnetic sphere around you that pulls enemies and damages them if they try to escape.
  • Polarizing Drop (C): Pulls scrap toward the Robot before exploding it in a spherical area, dealing area damage to nearby enemies. Holding the skill turns the Robot into a spinning attack that moves around the battlefield while grabbing, damaging, and stunning enemies.
  • Jetpack (F): The robot dashes towards enemies, exploding at the end of it. Holding the skill activates the Jetpack, allowing the Robot to fly around at higher speeds than the standard F skill.
  • Self-Destruct (V): Ends Maximum Overdrive and leaves the Robot behind. The Robot then pulls nearby enemies toward itself before exploding, dealing damage to everyone caught in its blast radius.
