Basketball Zero developers have released a brand new style called Popstar. The Popstar style is based off of Hatsune Miku, one of the most popular Vocaloids. It is a fun style with a powerful moveset which will undoubtedly enable you to score more points inside Basketball Zero. Popstar Style Unlock Guide
The Popstar style is unlocked through the in-game gatcha acquisition system. To get to it, press the Style button located on the lower side of the main menu screen. Once there, you should be able to see the Spin and Lucky Spin buttons underneath your avatar. Press the buttons and spin away until you have gotten the new Popstar Style. We recommend using the Lucky Spins if you can, because the chance of getting the Style from the regular Spin is only 0.25%, so in practical terms you are very unlikely to ever get it that way. Also make sure to select the Popstar style under the Popstar tier on the right side of the Styles menu. This will ever so slightly increase your chances of getting the new style.
Popstar Style Showcase - Basketball: Zero
Below is a detailed explanation of all Skills and Abilities the new Popstar style offers inside Basketball Zero.
- Flip Dunk (on the ball): A dunk move that works only when you are close to the basket. Once you are close enough perform a cool dunk, and if it connects, you gain +5% dribble recovery speed.
- Music Fling (on the ball): For this move to work, first you need to perform an Ankle Breaker on an opponent. Once you have done it, you can then perform the move. With a simple press of a corresponding button, fling the opponent across the entire court!
- Soul Strings (off the ball): After a cool guitar playing animation, slow all opponents and drain 10% from their zone bar.
- Guitar Slam (Awakened, on the ball): After an epic cutscene which shows the Popstar on stage, performs an instant slam dunk on the opponent's hoop. Upon scoring, you will gain +20% dribble recovery speed. This move also works when the ball is loose in the air!
- Beam (Awakened, off the ball): Turn the entire court into your stage, forcing all your opponents to start dancing uncontrollably! They fall down and become ankle broken, and you additionally get a large speed boost!
Basketball Zero Popstar Style FAQs
You will need to perform either regular Spins or Lucky Spins inside the Styles tab.
Regular Spins can be purchased with 2000 in-game dollars or by completing Quests located at the Season Pass Area of the map. Lucky Spins can also be earned through the same quests. Both of them can be bought using Robux. Additionally, you can also redeem some of the codes and get some Spins for free!
