To get the special Rainbow Sproutling pet in Steal an Egg, you must complete both stages of the Alien Event Raid. First, help repair Pete's crashed ship by collecting its five scattered parts: Satellite Dish, Antenna, Engine, Left Wing, and Right Wing. Once the ship is fixed, board it and travel to space, where you must destroy the alien Mothership while dodging incoming attacks and collecting power-ups. After completing both activities, Rainbow Sproutling will automatically be added to your inventory. The pet generates an impressive 2.7 B/s cash, making it a valuable addition to your base.
A new Alien Biome update has added several interesting features to Steal an Egg, including a special pet you won't want to miss. However, getting your hands on it requires participating in an unusual event involving a crashed spaceship and an encounter with unwelcome extraterrestrial visitors. If you're wondering how to get the special Rainbow Sproutling pet in Steal An Egg, here's everything you need to know about the event and its requirements.
How to Fix Pete's Ship in Steal an Egg

Fixing Pete's ship is the first activity you must complete to unlock the special Rainbow Sproutling pet in Steal an Egg. It's part of the Raid event added alongside the Alien Biome update. To do this, join the game, and you'll eventually be taken to the event area. You'll watch a cutscene that shows exactly how Pete's ship crashed, and once it ends, you'll need to collect its parts scattered across the map. There are five of these parts, and they are as follows: Satellite Dish, Antenna, Engine, Left Wing, and Right Wing.
The parts will be spread out near the ship, and the ship will be located very close to spawn. This means you will not have to look for long, and all parts will have a glowing aura around them, making them even easier to spot. Additionally, all players currently online on the server are teleported to the event area at the same time, and all of them participate in fixing the ship, meaning the more of them there are, the faster it will be repaired. If there are a lot of them, you might not even need to recover a single ship part! With that in mind, this is one of the few activities where you actually benefit from playing with other players, so playing on the game's private servers is ill-advised.
Once the ship has been fixed in it entirety, you will have to board it, or else other players can leave without you. To do this, approach it as quickly as possible and just press the "E" key, and you should be good to go.
How to Destroy the Mothership in Steal an Egg

The second activity you must complete as part of the Alien Event Raid in Steal an Egg is destroying the alien mothership. You do this by traveling to space in Pete's ship, which you just fixed, and then shooting the mothership with your lasers. While this part of the event is done individually by all of the players who managed to board Pete's Ship, the damage they manage to do to their own Motherships globally contributes towards depleting the health bar of all Motherships that are currently being engaged in combat. This means that even though your attacks only do 1 damage per hit, you will likely see the Mothership's health drop much faster, since other players are also damaging it from their own worlds.
This activity isn't as clear-cut as it might seem at first glance, though. This is because reaching the Mothership takes time, during which you must dodge or destroy stray rocks and small UFOs. You must not allow them to touch you, or else you will lose a life. You must also dodge the Mothership's attacks, since failing to do so will have the same outcome. You have three lives in total, so you do have some room for error. Furthermore, you can also collect power-ups as you fly through space. They come as white, glowing stars, and once you grab one, you get a temporary spread-shot buff that lets you shoot lasers in three directions at once instead of one at a time. However, you must be very careful not to accidentally pick up the wrong things, since the attacks that the UFOs and the Mothership produce look a lot like power-ups, except they are purple. So, to recap, dodge the purple orbs while collecting the white ones, and you should be fine.
How to Obtain the Rainbow Sproutling Pet in Steal An Egg

Once you've fixed Pete's Ship and destroyed the Mothership in Steal an Egg, the Rainbow Sproutling pet will automatically be added to your inventory after another short, unskippable cutscene. This means you can immediately place it in your base and start collecting revenue. It makes a whopping 2.7 B/s cash, so all but the most seasoned players should benefit greatly. While you are at it, don't forget to collect its Index reward, which will net you a one-time cash and speed bounty.
