How to Get the Stone Rod in Fisch [Ancient Isles]

It's just bad.

The Stone Rod came with the Ancient Isle update on Fisch, and is one of the most underwhelming fishing rods in the game. Despite its lackluster stats, players may still want to grab it to complete their collection or simply explore everything the new update has to offer. This guide will explain how to get the Stone Rod, where to find it, and why it might not be worth your hard-earned C$.

Stone Rod Location in Roblox Fisch

To find the Stone Rod, you will first need to get to the Ancient Isle. Start at Moosewood and sail further east than you've ever sailed before! Be prepared for a dangerous journey, as you’ll have to navigate through a minefield of traps and explosives. This hazardous stretch of ocean can damage your boat, so keep an eye on your vessel’s durability.

Eventually, you’ll reach Ancient Isle, located at coordinates (5512, 129, 472). From there, head to the far left side of the group of islands, specifically the small island northeast of the main area.

On this smaller island, you’ll see a pirate standing near an empty treasure chest on the shore. Behind him is a building with what looks like a door, and next to it are two crates. The Stone Rod is sitting on top of these crates at coordinates (5500, 143, -316), and can be purchased for 3000C$. While its location is easy to spot, deciding whether or not it’s worth the price is another matter entirely.

Stone Rod Stats

CategoryStat Value
Lure Speed-25%
Luck10%
Control0
Resilience5%
Max Weight of Fish (kg)900kg

These stats make the Stone Rod one of the worst rods in the game. Its low Max Kg and negative Lure Speed are disappointing, especially considering the effort required to reach its location. While it does offer a small boost to Luck and Resilience, these minor benefits don’t justify its steep price or its addition to the newest island in Fisch.

Should I Buy the Stone Rod?

The Stone Rod is more of a collector’s item than a practical tool for fishing. With far better rods available- like the Steady Rod or Kings Rod - most players will find it hard to justify spending 3000C$ on a rod that doesn’t measure up. However, if you’re a completionist or simply want to explore all the new content in the Ancient Isle update, then adding the Stone Rod to your inventory could still be worthwhile.
