If you’re wondering how to open the two hidden Cultist Lair Doors in Fisch’s Leviathan update, you’ve come to the right place. These doors require a very particular combination of materials to unlock them, and can be a bit convoluted at first glance. For this, you can refer to the rest of the guide below.
How to Open Cultist Lair Door 1 (Hall of Whispers) in Fisch
Once you’re past the doors and in the Cultist Lair, you should find a rather large door blocking your way forward. The key to unlocking the door is by completing a few steps in sequence:
- Firstly, fish for the Key of Whispers in the nearby water body. Make sure to use a Rod with a high Luck stat in order to hasten the process. Place the Key of Whispers on the yellow lock in the center.
- You’ll want to grab a Sparkling Enchant Relic either by getting lucky or purchasing it directly. With that in hand, place it on the right side of the door, on a pedestal.
- The third and final piece is an Albino Moon Wood, which can be obtained by fishing within Snowcap Island. Place the twig on the left side of the entrance, on a pedestal.
The door should now automatically open, and the lift should move forward. Interact with it to enter the Hall of Whispers.
How to Open Cultist Lair Door 2 (Passage of Oaths) in Fisch
Much like the first Door, the doorway to the Passage of Oaths in Fisch requires you to submit a total of three items in a similar fashion. Keep in mind that you'll need to unlock the first door in order to reach the Passage of Oaths:
- Fish for the Key of Oaths in the water pool nearby. Drop rates are quite low, so make sure to use a Rod with high luck stats. With the item in hand, submit it while you interact with the big yellow lock.
- You’ll need some Darkened Ancient Wood for the pedestal on your right. You can head over to Sunstone Island to grab some. Place it on the pedestal after you interact with it to proceed.
- A Shiny Enchant Relic is needed for the third and final piece of the puzzle. Grab an Enchant Relic the usual way (that is, by purchasing it directly from Merlin), and place it on the left pedestal.
Like the previous region, doing this will automatically unlock the door and lead you to an elevator. Interact with it in the Passage of Oaths.
How to Reach the Cultist Lair in Fisch
The Cultist Lair is located within Terrapin Island, on its leftmost edge. Climb up and walk until you find the Cultist Lair NPC. For now, interact with the NPC when the weather is Foggy at Night.
He will request the Mythical Sea Turtle, which can be a bit of a hassle at first. Once you submit the Turtle, he will hand you a map with certain coordinates. Walk to your immediate right and keep moving forward until you spot a cave with leaves blocking its entrance.
Enter the cave, and pull the lever to open up a secret entrance to the Cultist Lair. Do note that you must be in Foggy weather at Night in order to proceed.

Cultist Lair Door FAQs
The Key of Whispers can be found before you reach the Hall of Whispers. Simply fish for the key in the pond near the first door.
The Key of Oaths is located beyond the Hall of Whispers. Like the Key of Whispers, you'll have to fish it out of the nearby water body, present close to the second door.
The lever will only spawn during Foggy weather at Night. As such, you can choose to either wait or speed up time to meet the unlocking conditions.
