How to Recognize all Monsters in Skinwalkers [Horror]

None of you monsters in Skinwalkers can fool me!

Some monsters are easy to spot while others can sneak right by you and into the village to cause carnage, which is why we are here to help you recognize all monsters in Skinwalkers. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the list, and you'll be able to go through all 10 days without killing a civilian (unless they somehow step into your sights, which has happened to me).

All Skinwalkers Defects

DefectHow to Spot It
Skinwalkers Doppleganger defect
Doppleganger
- Both the easiest and toughest enemy to spot as these Skinwalkers take the image of the players in the lobby.
- You should be able to easily spot yourself, but if you're playing with strangers, you might not be able to even spot them. You better hope the other players spot themselves.
Skinwalkers Weird Face defect
Weird Face
- large grins
- weird noses
- anything that seems off on a person's face, you better shoot.
Skinwalkers Split Walking defect
Split Walking
- Or as I like to call this Pose 28
- If you see a model glide towards you in a split, shoot.
Skinwalkers Walking Backwards defect
Walking Backwards
- If a model is walking backwards, shoot
- They might briefly turn around and face the front, but this won't last long so you can still spot them
Skinwalkers Zombie Walking defect
Zombie Walking
- These creatures can get by pretty well since they walk relatively normally (apart from their hands raised), and they look normal
- Keep an eye on anyone that looks like they want to hug you
Skinwalkers Weird Ear defect
Weird Ear
- Very obvious, you can spot them from quite a while away
Skinwalkers Weird Height defect
Weird Height
- This one comes in two versions
- You'll either see the skinny tall one that has a very elongated torso and long arms but short legs
- Or you'll see the one with a normal head but a tiny body
Skinwalkers Weird Tongue defect
Weird Tongue
- Don't confuse the tongue as a bandana, especially on the cowboy model (which has happened to me)
- On other models, it can be easier to spot
Skinwalkers Crawling Defect
Crawling
- These move around pretty fast and will be easy to miss if there are Civilians (or other monsters) around them
Skinwalkers Joint Bending
Joint Bending
- These Skinwalkers look pretty normal until you see something flapping around them
- Don't mistake this for a glitch, that's just their arms bending in the weirdest ways.
Skinwalkers Upside Down Defect
Upside Down
- It's either someone in a B-boy competition, or it's a Skinwalker. Tough choice.
Skinwalkers Weird Body Parts defect
Weird Body Parts
- The easiest to spot, did they even try to copy what an actual human looks like?
Skinwalkers Weird Walk defect
Weird Walk
- Sort of glitchy and extremely fast run, like they are the next Flash. Keep an eye on them so that they don't speed past you into the village.
Skinwalkers Weird Head defect
Weird Head
- Balloon head or Slenderman? These are easily noticeable as you can usually see the head bobble above the rest of the crowd.
Skinwalkers Big Belly defect
Big Belly
- Their belly protrudes through whatever clothes they are wearing. If they are in a crowd, they can get past by so make sure to check out
Skinwalkers Tilting Head Defect
Tilting Head
- These will be titling their heads back and forth so just pay attention to head movement and you'll spot them.
Skinwalkers Blank Cube Face defect
Blank Cube Face
- You've heard of oval and square faces, but now get ready for a perfect blank cube.
Skinwalkers Just a Head defect
Just a Head
- You'd think a floating head would be easier to spot, but these creatures can get by sometimes in large crowds.
Skinwalkers No Animation defect
No Animations
- Everything seems normal but these monsters are actually pretty easy to spot. They just sort of float around towards you and it gives you an uncanny valley feeling.

Skinwalkers Giant defect
Giant
- A giant creature towering over all of the other civilians, can easily be spotted

Skinwalkers No Face defect
No Face
- More difficult to spot than a weird face or a weird body. Make sure that you're looking close at people's faces for, well, nothing on it.
Skinwalkers No Head defect
No Head
- Easier to spot than no body, but it can get past you if in a crowd.
Skinwalkers Bulging Eyes defect
Bulging Eyes
- This monster might have also spent a lot of time playing games like me. Its eyes

How to Survive All 10 Nights in Skinwalkers

For starters, if possible, play in a team. The more of you the easier it is to spot any defects in the Skinwalkers. Once the day is near the end (around a fifth left), at least one or two of you should jump down into the fray and start picking up the Skinwalkers bodies. Do this to ensure you have more money, as you won't have that much time to grab the bodies during the night (and the Skinwalkers will be fighting you for them).

Make sure you've stocked up on Ammo and Bandages first, as you can get killed during the Night and lose some teammates. You should also have a variety of classes across the board with Doctor being a good idea (due to extra bandages and its cheap) and Engineer (for turrets when you have enough bonds).
