Here’s how you solve all the emergencies that occur randomly during your shift in Animal Hospital:
- Fire breakout: Use a fire extinguisher in the room on fire.
- Patient on fire: Use a fire extinguisher on the burning patient.
- Patient who faints: Pick up the faint patient and place him on the designated bed.
- Death ritual: Tase the patient or put out all the candles.
- Monster under the bed: Push the patient back or give maple syrup to the monster.
- Purple monster in surgery: Complete the surgery mini-game to save the patient.
- Critical patient: Complete check-in, treatment/surgery (if needed) within 120 seconds.
During your shifts at the Animal Hospital, different emergencies can occur that you must solve before the time runs out. And, if you don’t know how to deal with certain emergencies, you’ll not only lose Sanity but also end up with dead patients. What Are All The Emergencies in Animal Hospital
Emergencies are time-limited events that can occur randomly during your shift, and you have to solve them before the timer runs out, or you’ll lose the patient locked with that emergency. Right now, there are seven emergencies that can occur in Animal Hospital. Read on to learn how to solve each one.
How to Put Out the Fire in Animal Hospital
There are two ways to put out the fire if you see it in any of the rooms. You can either use a fire extinguisher or use your hands to put out the fire. Using the fire extinguisher is the faster and safer option. If you use your hands, it will take a lot longer to put out the fire. Moreover, to put out the fire using your hands, you will have to get close to the fire, which causes you to lose 1 sanity per second.
This is not a timed emergency, but you should put out the fire as soon as possible. Leaving the fire as is will cause a lot of trouble, as you won’t be able to attend to the patient, and you’ll lose your sanity if you get too close to it.
Note: A room can catch on fire before or after the patient checks in. If a patient walks into a room that is on fire, they will faint instantly. If that happens, you should place the patient on the bed first and then put out the fire.
How to Save the Patient on Fire in Animal Hospital
To save a patient who is on fire, you need to put out the fire within 60 seconds. You can do it in one of the following two ways:
- Use a fire extinguisher: If you use a fire extinguisher, the patient will heal instantly. No extra care will be required afterward.
- Use your hands: If you use your hands to save the burning patient, they will suffer burns that you will have to treat using an ointment. The extra care needed must also be provided within 60 seconds, or the patient will die.
How to Get the Fire Extinguisher in Animal Hospital
The Fire Extinguisher is a free item that you can pick up and use after completing 2 Shifts. When the third shift starts, you’ll find the Fire Extinguisher to the right of the Supplies Shop. The Fire Extinguisher has a charge mechanic. When it reaches 0% charge, put it back to its original position, and it will recharge to 100%.
How to Save the Faint Patient in Animal Hospital
A patient can faint at the check-in window or when they walk into a room that is on fire. In both cases, the only way to save that patient is to pick them up and place them on their designated bed within 60 seconds. After that, you can continue taking their care normally. But if you don’t get them to their bed within the time limit, the patient will die.
How to Save a Patient from Death Ritual in Animal Hospital
There’s a chance that when you walk into a patient’s room, you’ll see them floating in the air and find seven lit candles on the floor. This is the death ritual, and you have 40 seconds to halt the ritual and save the patient. There are two ways to do it:
- Put out all the candles. Simply walk up to each candle in the room and put it out. Each candle you put out will cost you 1 to 3 sanity points.
- Tase the patient. If you have a taser at hand, use it on the patient to instantly end the death ritual and save the patient.
Halting the death ritual will put the patient back in their bed, and you can resume their treatment.
How to Get a Taser in Animal Hospital
The Taser becomes available for free at the start of the third shift. You can find it inside the Reception and use it once per charge. Once it runs out of charge, place it back into the box to recharge it and use it again. You can also buy tasers with multiple charges from the Supplies Shop.
How to Save a Patient from the Bed Monster in Animal Hospital
The Bed Monster can appear in any room and attack a patient while they are on the bed, walking into the room, or walking out of it. To save the patient from the Bed Monster, you need to help the patient get free from the monster.
As the monster is dragging the patient under the bed, get close to the patient and interact with them to help them break free. If you can’t help the patient break free within 30 seconds, the monster will eat the patient.
Aside from the patients, the Bed Monster will also attack the player and any anomalies that get too close to it. One way to keep the Bed Monster from attacking is to give it maple syrup. To feed the Bed Monster, equip the maple syrup and get close to the monster. It’ll take the syrup and disappear without attacking you or the patient.
How to Save a Patient from the Purple Monster in Animal Hospital
The purple monster appears in Room 8 (surgery room) and starts eating away at your patient. To save your patient, you need to complete the surgery mini-game within 45 seconds. The blackboard behind the bed shows all the steps of the surgery. You just need to be quick enough and complete the surgery within the time-limit to save your patient.
Note: Do not try to tase or shoot the purple monster, as it is directly connected to the patient. If you try to kill/harm the monster, you’ll kill your patient.
Once you complete the surgery mini-game, the monster disappears, and you can continue the treatment normally.
Apart from these Animal Hospital emergencies, there’s an Ambulance Event as well that floods the entire hospital with six to seven patients. Among these patients, you’ll sometimes see a critical patient. Make sure you check in and treat the critical patient within 120 seconds, or they’ll die.
