Requirements: 3 Rebirths to unlock the mutations system. 5 Rebirths to unlock Legendary mutations. 10 Rebirths to unlock the Admiral mutations.

With the Mutations Update, different mutations have been added to Merge a Nuke that can apply different buffs and debuffs to your nukes. In this complete Merge a Nuke mutations guide, we’ll tell you all about the 15+ mutations in the game, including how to unlock mutations, the buffs and debuffs applied by each mutation, and more. So, let’s get right to it.

How to Get Mutations in Merge a Nuke

To get mutations for your nukes in Merge a Nuke, you first need to complete Rebirth 3. Once you do that, nukes have a random chance to spawn with a mutation. Also, every time you merge two nukes, there’s a chance that the resulting nuke can get a mutation.

Note: Complete Rebirth 5 to unlock the Legendary mutations and Rebirth 10 to unlock the Admiral mutation (the highest rarity mutation in the game).

When you complete 10 Rebirths, you’ll also unlock the second mutation slot. That means nukes can now have two mutations at once. To get multiplier mutations on a nuke, merge it with another mutated nuke. Every time you merge two nukes with different mutations, there’s a chance that the merged nuke can get both the mutations.

Note: Legendary mutation has a 10% chance to get Stabilized. Stabilized mutations do not apply any debuff to your nuke.

What Are All The Mutations in Merge a Nuke

As of the Mutations Update, there are 16 mutations in Merge a Nuke. 15 of these can be obtained normally and are shown in the Index. The 16th mutation is the Magma mutation that can only be obtained during Merge a Nuke Admin Abuse.

How to Get the Magma Mutation in Merge a Nuke

The Magma mutation does not appear in the mutations index, but it does apply similar buffs and debuffs to your nukes. You can obtain the Magma mutation from the Volcano Event that only spawns during the Merge a Nuke Admin Abuse Event.

While the Volcano Event is active, a giant volcano appears at the centre of the map. Hit the weak points of the volcano to deal damage. Every 15 hits on the weak points, the volcano spits lava onto the player with the most successful hits. The lava has a chance to apply the Magma mutation to the player’s nukes. If the Lava Merge event is active, you may get this mutation by merging nukes.

What Does the Magma Mutation Do in Merge a Nuke

The Magma mutation applies the following buffs and debuffs to your nukes:

  • Nukes earn 50% more cash
  • Nukes deal extra damage
  • The area where the nukes fall will catch on fire (no additional damage caused by the fire)

That's all there is to know about the Merge a Nuke mutations system, for now. If and when the devs add more mutations to the game or make any changes to the system, we'll update this guide accordingly.
