My Singing Brainrot is officially in Space, bringing plenty of new stuff to play around with, including new brainrots to collect on a brand new island. There’s also a new way to get mutations and increase their value/earning. This guide will tell you how to get to the new island, mutate your brainrots, and everything else you want to know about the Space Update.
Everything New in My Singing Brainrot Space Update
Here’s a list of all the changes and new additions made to My Singing Brainrot with the Space Update:
- New Space Island.
- 13 new space-themed brainrots, including Diamond and Golden versions.
- Egg Incubator, a new item at the Item Shop.
- Mutation Machine.
How to Unlock the Space Island in My Singing Brainrot?

Space Island is the third island in My Singing Brainrot, added in the Space Update. You can access it using the Different Islands portal. However, to do that, you need to first unlock the island by reaching Level 25 and paying $5,000,000.
Once you are on Level 25 and have the cash required, go to the Different Islands portal, press E, and scroll down to find and unlock the Space Island. It is the costliest in the game right now.
The price of Common rarity eggs starts from $500,000, Rare eggs can cost over $15,000,000, and Legendary eggs start from $1.5 billion. So, before you unlock Space Island, make sure to pile up a huge sum of cash just to get started.
How to Use the Egg Incubator in My Singing Brainrot?

The Egg Incubator is a new single-use item added to My Singing Brainrot that you can purchase from the Item Shop for 500 Gems or 149 Robux. Placing an egg inside the Egg Incubator will reduce the hatching time by 2x. So, if hatching a Legendary egg takes 30 minutes, you can use the Egg Incubator on it to get the egg ready in 15 minutes.
The Egg Incubator works differently from the Boomboxes because you have to put the egg inside the incubator for it to work. Here’s how to use the egg incubator:
- Buy the Egg Incubator from the Item Shop.
- Place the egg on the ground.
- Select the Egg Incubator from your inventory.
- Go near the egg you want to put into the Incubator and tap/click on it.
The egg will go inside the incubator, and you’ll see the time reduced by half. Once the egg is ready to hatch, the Incubator will disappear, and the egg will go back to its original size. The Egg Incubator is the perfect item for high-rarity Space Island eggs because of their long hatching times.
How to Use the Mutation Machine in My Singing Brainrot?

In the left corner of the Item Shop, a new machine is placed called the Mutation Machine, which you can use to apply different mutations to your brainrot without having to wait for one of the Global Events in My Singing Brainrot. However, you must be a Level 30 player to be able to use it. Also, you’ll need gems to use the Mutation Machine. Here’s the price chart:
Brainrot Rarity | Mutation Cost |
---|---|
Common | 75 Gems |
Uncommon | 150 Gems |
Rare | 225 Gems |
Legendary | 300 Gems |
Mythic | 375 Gems |
Chroma | 450 Gems |
Once you unlock the Mutation Machine, here’s how you can use it to mutate a brainrot:
- Pick up the brainrot you want to mutate.
- Go to the Mutation Machine. You can also fast travel to the machine using the new Mutation button next to the To Islands button.
- Equip the brainrot and tap on E.
- Confirm and wait for 60 minutes for the mutation to complete.
There is a 21.60% chance of the mutation machine failing. In that case, you’ll lose your gems, and your brainrot won’t get any mutation. Chances for other mutations are:
Mutations | Chances |
---|---|
Golden | 32.60% |
Diamond | 27.20% |
Bloodmoon | 8.80% |
Electric | 4.40% |
Fire | 1.90% |
Ice | 1.90% |
Glitch | 1.90% |
