- Shiny: x1.2 Value Multiplier

How to Get Specific Legendary and Mythic Ores in Prospecting

Epic, Legendary, and Mythic minerals and ores are the hardest to get in Prospecting, and there is a trick you can use to obtain certain ones more easily. What you need to do is prospect in the area where the mineral you're looking for has the least competition among the minerals of the same rarity. For example, Diamond is the most common Legendary on Sunset Beach. So, if a Legendary is rolled, Diamond has the highest chance of appearing. The same is true for minerals of other rarities.
How Does Luck Work in Prospecting Roblox?
The rarity of every item you get is based on a randomly rolled number. Your Luck modifier determines how many times the number will be rolled, and the best of all rolled values will determine the item's final rarity. So if you have 50 Luck, you'll have ~50x more chance to get a higher-rarity item than someone with 1 Luck. That value isn't exact because there is a set chance of weakened/no luck that assures low-rarity items are always obtainable even when your Luck reaches insane numbers.
Prospecting Roblox Minerals/Ores FAQ
Use the search function on your browser or scroll until you find the ore that you need. Then, check out the Available Locations column to find all the areas where it can drop.
What is the best location to prospect for new players?
If you're new, the best place to farm is the Fortune River. It has plenty of good Rare minerals that will drop often and sell for decent amounts of money.
Should you sell high-rarity minerals or save them for crafting?
Usually, it's best to save all Legendary and Mythic minerals for crafting. You can also save some hard-to-find Epic minerals, though finding them shouldn't be as much of a problem.
