Mutations will make your pets faster, increase their sale value, and boost their per-second earning rate. Each mutation can be obtained during its respective weather event of the same name.

How to Get Mutations in Ride a Pet
There are two ways to get Mutations in Ride a Pet: Weather Events and Hatching Egg. As of the Mutations meta, there are five Weather Mutations and three Hatch Mutations in Ride a Pet. Read on to learn how to get all of them
- Thunder: Applies the Shocked Mutation to Eggs and Pets.
- Volt: Applies the Volted Mutation to Eggs and Pets.
- Raging: Applies the Rage Mutation to Eggs and Pets.
- Void: Applies the Void Mutation to Eggs and Pets.
- Eternal: Applies the Eternal Mutation to Eggs and Pets.
Each weather event lasts for 5 minutes and has an equal chance to spawn whenever the weather changes in Ride a Pet. While a weather event is active, all eggs on the map become mutated. Pets that are in your pen have an unknown chance of catching a mutation. If you are riding a pet during the weather event, that pet also has a chance to get mutated.
Note: Pets in your inventory can’t get mutated during weather events.
As for the Hatch Mutations, these are only obtainable by hatching eggs. Every time you hatch an egg, there's an unknown chance that the resulting pet will have one of the three Hatch Mutations: Gold, Diamond, or Rainbow.
What Are All The Mutations in Ride a Pet
