Roblox Innovation Awards 2025 Nominations Now Open

Time to send in your nominations for the RIAs 2025!

Nominations for the Roblox Innovation Awards 2025 are officially open! The RIAs are a great opportunity to highlight the excellence across the platform, and it's up to you to submit your favorite experiences, UGCs and even video creators. The nomination period closes on June 16, 2025, at 5 PM PST / 8PM EST / 1AM CET , so you'll want to get your submissions in before time runs out.

Formerly known as the Bloxy Awards, the Roblox Innovation Awards now celebrate the most creative experiences on the platform, as well as game developers, and content creators (video or UGC). The awards will be given to the winners at the event in San Jose, California on September 6, 2025.

Nominating an experience or a creator is extremely easy. Just head to the Roblox Submission form and you'll see many Roblox awards categories which you can submit a nomination for. Keep in mind that you can submit only one nomination per category. Here's a full list below:

  • Best New Experience
  • People’s Choice
  • Best Collaboration
  • Best Use of IP
  • Best Use of Immersive Marketing
  • Best Adventure Experience
  • Best Party & Casual Experience
  • Best Obby & Platformer Experience
  • Best Survival Experience
  • Best Roleplay & Avatar Sim Experience
  • Best Simulation Experience
  • Best Puzzle Experience
  • Best Racing Experience
  • Best Sports Experience
  • Best Strategy Experience
  • Best Action Experience
  • Best Shooter Experience
  • Best RPG Experience
  • Best UGC Creator
  • Best Video Star

The Innovation Awards have become increasingly important as the numbers on the platform continue to grow (recently over 70 million a day). There are more and more people playing but also more and more people making games! The competition is going to be tough this year.

The most competitive categories will be the Best New Experience as well as People's Choice. There have been plenty of new experiences that have come out this year that can compete in both of these categories. For example, Grow a Garden might be on the road to winning quite a few awards this year. Other notable categories include:

  • Best Collaboration - highlights partnership between brands and experiences
  • Best Use of IP - highlights excellent adaptations of existing intellectual properties
  • Best UGC Creator - celebrates the content creator side of the community

During the 2024 RIAs, there was a special event taking place where a new category would go live each day and you'd have 24 hours to vote. We're not sure yet if that will be the case for the Roblox Innovation Awards 2025. You could also earn points to collect event specific items by making (and winning) predictions about who will get which award. I'm really hoping they add this again, as I love getting event specific UGCs.

Don't miss your chance to help recognize the best that Roblox has to offer. Submit your nominations before June 16th and make your voice heard in celebrating the innovation that makes the platform special.
